I was wondering if anyone has heard of wedding sponsorships? I saw one on the news a couple years ago about how ALMOST their entire wedding was free of charge because they chose to have sponsors?
I looked this question up on Yahoo! Answers and boy, were they pissed about a user asking where she could find this kind of “gift”, so to speak. I wouldn’t call it tacky to have a Dr. Pepper logo on the train of your wedding gown or a Starbucks logo on your wedding cake that tastes like their new coffee flavor but there are actually people, like myself and fiance who are getting married April 2010, who are struggling to have a nice wedding.
Basically, what I am doing is putting out job bids. I state my price and look over proposals. My PROSPETIVE wedding photographer is offering 12 hours of photography, unlimited photos to a CD and DVD, 300 edited pictures in an album for $450. (It took allot of meetings over coffee at Starbucks to pull this off but it worked) We got $2000.00 off the cost of our reception so in all we have to pay, $1800 for our entire reception, including food, bar, linen, cake cutting, dancefloor setup, and a block of 10 discounted rooms. I would say don’t give up if things seem bad. This economy is horrible. We both lost our jobs this year and are trying to hold it all together.
Question: Does anyone know any Trash The Dress photographers in the CHICAGOLAND area? I am looking for one but I want some of my session done underwater…(see pictures) I really wasn’t a fan of the phenomenon but I have fallen in love with it since I came across these pictures.
