I haven’t been to many weddings nor have I seen lighting decor much so I am wondering what looks better in person… if it makes a difference, I am thinking rustic
xmas string lights
clear globe string lights
Frosted globe string lights
or a combination maybe?
I know fairy lights, for example, can be used to wrap around trees and structures.
Any other string lights I should consider? Would love to hear thoughts on string lights for outdoor weddings!!!

The globe lights look GREAT strung and hanging – the regular lights are good for wrapping things or more “flat” applications.
A few things to keep in mind:
– Different sets have different limits on how many sets can be strung together, so keep that in mind when shopping for them. Cheaper isn’t always better because you may not be able to string together as many sets.
– Powering all these lights can be a real challenge at an outdoor venue. Think through what extension cords you’ll need, how you’re going to stake them down into the ground so people don’t trip, where the electricity source is and how much power it can handle without blowing a fuse, any possible sources of liquid or people knocking drinks onto things, etc.

@NAvery: Definitely a lot of considerations to make! Do you know anything about battery operated lights and how they compare?
