I have said this about a thousand times….lol. No seating charts, no menu cards, no garter toss and not bouquet toss. I might change my mind on the last two. No Grooms cake……what’s the purpose?? LOL

We’re not doing any of those. Nor are we doing a First Dance. But we are providing really pretty note cards for guests to leave notes to go into our wine box, and that means we’re doing a wine box 🙂 and we’re having a peanut butter chocolate wedding cake and an open bar. w00t!!

Oh and we’re requesting guests take home the centerpeices.

We’re not doing:

Bouquet / guarder toss

No cake, -pie for th. Groom I am wheat, dairy, and egg intolerant-

No limo

No cocktail hour

No caterer, family is taking care of the food, it’s important for my health that I know exactly how it’s prepared I can’t risk getting ill that day.

No first dance

NO bridesmaid luncheon

NO limo (using my mom’s coupe for just me and FI)

NO headtable (sweetheart table)

NO open bar (cocktails and beer only)

NO cake topper (I cant stand em!!! Flowers instead)

We are doing cupcakes instead of a traditional cake and I also don’t like the anniversary cake idea either… that’s disgusting to me, especially when Fiance and I don’t even like cake!

Mine is very similar to the other posts, however I can add that we are not doing corsages for the mothers or boutonnieres!  I prefer pocket squares anyway!

We skipped the garter toss and attached a “thank you for coming” giftcard to my toss bouquet and made it a bouquet toss for everyone!  It was a long shot and I was afraid of that, but it was actually a big hit!  Smile

The most notable traditional thing that we are skipping is dancing at the reception. Neither of us are big dancers, and we are having an outdoor wedding so we are doing lawn games instead! Later on in the evening we will have a bonfire. 🙂
