I would call that a “Garden Party” theme! And I think it would be beautiful!

I am having an October wedding and was originally going with a Peacock theme… and then all of a sudden one day I just decided I don’t need a theme… I am just doing my colors Black, Purple, and Turquoise…. and it will just be an “elegant” affair with some bling… I don’t exactly know what to call that… lol my center pieces will have some bling with calla lilys and orchids and floating candles and I will have mason jars along the isles… but that’s about it….

Sorry I’m no help 🙁

LouieV: I went with our chosen colours. I did have bows on a few items unintentionally, like on invites, back of Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, a swag that we put up at the venue, place cards and I was happy with it.

LouieV:  Sometimes we struggle too hard to put a name to what we have in our head. You can carry out your vision even without a “named” theme.

If you want a name, you could call it Nights in White Satin- an old song title.

LouieV:  I never really understood themes for weddings. whenever someone asks what the theme for our wedding is I always say “our theme is we’re getting married!” Haha but in all honesty if I had to narrow down a “theme” were doing black and white – with gold modern accents. Is that even makes sense haha

LouieV:  French provincial? This is what came up when I googled it:

I don’t think you need a theme really. “Wedding’ is really the only theme you need, LOL.

Our theme was “College Sweethearts”. We met on our college campus, that’s where we fell in love, both graduated from and then went back to get married there. So our colors were purple, gray/silver, white/ivory for school colors but it worked out perfectly because my favorite color is purple and my husband’s favorite is gray so it was still very “us.”Our reception theme was “Love is Sweet.” Each of our 24 tables were named after all different types of candy. At each place setting was a bride or groom favor box filled with that candy for guests to enjoy there or take home with them. Our wedding style was semi-formal, average size about 150, average cost for our area, and a young partying crowd with a strong emphasis on family. Our ceremony started at 2 we had a one hour gap and a 30 minute drive to the reception and our recpetion ended at midnight. Here’s a brief highlight video. https://vimeo.com/110931938
