I think it sounds great and I don’t think it’d be crazy at all. The only thing I can suggest is double-checking with your Fiance that he’s okay with the theme. I had an idea of what I wanted as a theme once we got engaged and I brought it up to my Fiance and he was so not into the idea. I was really sad at first, but now I’m really grateful he spoke up because the direction we’re going in now is so much more “us”. πŸ™‚

@tobemrstaddesse:  Mine is like that too, but he will voice an opinion on the weirdest things! One thing I might suggest is to ask him flat out what things are most important to him (which will most likely have to do with food lol, but you might be surprised what he comes up with) and then let him take the lead on those things. My Fiance is stationed overseas right now so I’ve planned most everything myself anyway, but with every decision I don’t commit until I’ve run it by him. He says yes on 99% of stuff anyway, but it helps involve him and it might make your Fiance more eager to have a hand in some of the planning/decisions πŸ™‚

@tobemrstaddesse:  It’s your AND your fiance’s wedding.  Go with what you like.  Make it beautiful for the two of you.  It’s like I said in my newsletter that went out today or was it my book?  Anyway, you are inviting your community (of friends & family) to celebrate your joining together in a smaller community (with your fiance’) within the larger community.

It sounds beautiful!  Go for it.  Have no regrets of what could have been if you had the courage.  You do have courage, because it is right for you and your fiance’.  Have fun!
