FH & I are having an outdoor ceremony under a huge oak tree, its called the “Love Tree”
But having the reception indoors, im aiming for modern & glam!
We had to change ceremony locations, we were getting married on the beach, and were going to use a starfish theme… but we changed so now, were trying to figure out what to do… The orginal colors for the beach were bright fuschia and pool blue..
but since we are getting married under a tree, I want it romantic.. it will be still be day light out when we say ” I DO” we live in florida and the sun wont be setting till 8:01 that day..
The ceremony site will be simple and romantic, with rose petal aisle & i was thinking of hanging paper laterns from the tree.
but for the inside, im kind of lost… we dont want it to be rustic, because that is not us.
we want it romantic, and glam, and bling lol
but not sure which way to go….

Maybe you could do romantic.. glam & bling. All 3 of those could could go together.
We are doing rustic-romantic.
When I think of romantic, I think of lots and lots and lots of candles!
Bling and glam can be added with almost everything from the plastes & chargers, to the handleholders, to the centpieces with lots of crystals hanging off of them.
Do you have a specific centerpiece in mind? Or any other specific ideas?
Are you keeping the fuschia & pool blue? I think those might kind of clash against each other when not on the beach.

@jenilynevette: I have seen a couple of centerpieces I love,
I really love the branches, with crystal beading, and the lights hanging.
The reception will have no uplighting, not in the budget.. the venue has clear isicle lights that hang from the ceiling…. & I want to have some color at the tables so its not to plain, but I love the simplicity of the branch centerpieces. & I also can not have flame candles, but I have ordered, flameless, tea lights & other flameless candles….
& Yes, I was trying to figure out a diffrent color pattern, FH & I really like the aqua blue… but can change out the fuscia.. I just want it romatic and beautiful<3
Thanks for your help dear 🙂

@kindofaBIGdeal: I think if you’re going for romantic, you’ll want to have 1 bold color for accents [like the aqua], and then a subtle color, such as ivory or white.
I think those tree centerpieces are fab, but I believe they can get costly [that centerpiece is exactly what I was thinking when I mentioned crystals hanging from the centerpieces :P].
I think if you went with lots of candles, and then turned on the icicle lights, it would totally give it that glowly romantic feel.
