Not really a super “OMG” crisis. I am still in the planning stage of my wedding, but I am torn between 2 themes.
I have booked a lodge for my wedding reception venue, with an outdoor ceremony. After speaking to my coordinator, who is also a bridemaid, about design, I realized that my venue took over my wedding.(Especially when she looked at the colors and they were totally unlike me: neutral and beige)
I had chosen a theme that matched more of the space than it did me or my fiance…..but the theme I was going for, I think may clash. The theme I wanted was an ode to the Atomic Age ; I love retro things and my fiance is very scientific by nature. What we ended up with was a quirky woodland wedding theme. I dont know what to do. Do I subject my budget to hiding the venue? Do I just go with the woodland wedding theme? Or do I just ignore my venue all together and write it off as 4 walls (lighting and decor will mask it)?
I have 9 months untill the wedding, I havent bought anything or DIYed yet. What should I do bees?
Have you changed your mind on your theme?
