Burlap, mermaid gowns. Belts for sure, most dresses I think look way better without. The polaroid/frame hanging to take photos behind. I love cutesy photobooths but those ones just seem too cheesey and overdone.

FoxFace:  I just said yes to my dress yesterday. It is strapless and has a sparkly belt. I actually thought it was “unique” for lack of a better word. I’m curious to know what you think about my dress with the sparkly belt.

I’ll be fair first, I am using worn trends. Mimosa bar (we have mimosa Mondays every week so it represents a weekly thing for us), sparklers, a theme that can double for a kids birthday party and a candy bar

im over rustic and vintage. If it’s your style, great. Have fun. So many people are doing it though. Is it always a reflection of the couple

Wedding favors. Useless and expensive!!!!

The shoe game

And that’s it for me haha. Everything else is what makes weddings special. And I can’t hate on wedding dresses, no matter the shape, color, form, sleeves, sleeveless, whatever.

socalgirl1689:  Chalkboard signs.  Any & all unnecessary signage actually, but especially when they come on a chalkboard.

JTbridetobee:  Just about every dress on here is strapless with a sparkly belt. There is nothing wrong with them, and most of the brides who wear them look amazing. They are just very much on trend right now, and this is a thread about trends people are tired of, soooo…………

I actually love rustic, and every one is sick of that too.

socalgirl1689:  I wish! Our venue charges a cutting and serving fee for both cakes and cupcakes! Yup $2 per person to serve them a cupcake…. They have an on-site bakery and quite clearly want you to use it (no fee if you get one of their cakes) -_-

Ohh so many!!!

Country/rustic theme, in a barn, when the couple is not from the country…doesn’t reflect them at all!

Burlap and mason jars.  Both can be found in my grandma’s basement!  Italian family, so I was using mason jars before they were cool (for making sauce).  If that’s your thing, cool but I would rather have my wedding look like I didn’t just pull stuff from my grandma’ basement.

Signs for everything!  “Guestbook,”. “Mr and Mrs” signs.  Yes, I know you’re mr and mrs.  I just saw you get married!!!  “Here comes the bride” sign.  Ok, thanks. I figured the bride was coming.  “Cake.”  Ohh thats What that was???

Photos that are overly posed, cheesy, or involve props.  My photographer said that now basically most couples come in with cheesy pics they printed off Pinterest and say “I want this picture.” And that everyone ends up with the same pictures.  I can tell from my Facebook feed! Everyone has the hands making the heart picture, the bride and groom kiss while wedding party looks grissed out picture, the all jumping at once picture, the bridesmaids lift up dresses to show their shoes picture, the holding hands behind a door before the ceremony picture, the maid of honor and best man hold up a frame and bride and groom stand behind it picture…Just be natural and do your own thing!!!!!!

Cupcakes…just doesn’t say “formal” to me.
