Purchase from where you are most comfortable, be it a department store like Macys or H&M. I purchased from Amazon. As for nylons, no, I wore sandals. As for garter, I purchased through Etsy. It was a simple lace band with the date and a message embroidered on it in navy

Yeah, I was wondering about panty hose myself! My dress is long, my wedding is in June, and I get over heated easy. Should I wear hose? I’m wearing shapewear, do I really need underwear under those?!

Target has bridal undies. JC Penny, David’s Bridal, bridalpanties.com… there really is a big market and many suppliers. It did not have “bride” on it, I found such unnecessary as only the groom would see it and he should know my role in the wedding, but purchased a cute white lacy set from H&M. Google will help your search

I found some on Amazon that was really nice. I also saw bridal sections on both the bare necessities and fig leaves websites.

It really depends on how much you want to spend and if you want bridal-specific lingerie.

Topshop, ASOS, American Apparel & H&M all have affordable cute /sexy underwear in lace and/or white.

Negative underwear, brooklyn fox, intimissimi & Journelle are all higher-end priced lingerie that are definitely wedding-night appropriate.

If you want to go the luxury route; Agent Provocateur and Eres are my go-to’s.

I used Amazon for mine, but none of it said Mrs. or anything like that on it.  I think it would turn my husband off, actually.  Just not us.  Are you wondering about wearing hose with your lingerie or with your dress?  If you’ve got shoes on, wear hose so you don’t get sweaty blistered feet.  If you’re going barefoot, no hose because you’ll just tear it up.  There are open-toe options for hose where you just have a loop around your big toe, so no problem if that’s how your shoes go.  No idea about the garter.

I’m of no help on the “bride/Mrs” stuff, since I’ve only ever found maybe two places that carry it in my size. I found a garter I like on Etsy. I wanted a geeky one and am plus size, so it seemed the best option. There are a TON of different garters on there. Also, not wearing pantyhose. Or shapewear. Pantyhose is annoying and I think shapewear is demeaning. I’m just wearing Converse for my shoes, so I’ll wear no-show socks and call it a day.

I bought some pretty white lace undies from target, they were legit “bridal” but not necessarily labeled as bridal! 🙂 I had a super low cut back on my wedding dress,  so for a bra I had to buy one of those stick on cup bras.  (They are weird and I’ll prob never wear it again!) I did not wear pantyhose or spanx.

shortsweetness:  No hose. I wore a shaperwear and I don’t think I wore underwear under it. I didn’t wear a bra beause support built into dress. I think it’s more important that whatever you wear “agrees” with your dress- doesn’t make any lines you don’t want or bumps etc. But of course new is fun and will make you feel happy, so go for it. Try to shop for it in time to bring it to a dress fitting appointment so you know it “works” under your dress.
