hi ladies, i my updo done for the wedding. It is a combo between 2 of them that i love. I really liked it when i had it done and ok the pictures were taken at midnight 11 hours after the updo trial lol. Anyways what do you ladies think??? The first 2 are of the ones i love. The rest are of me. Sorry for the deer in the headlight look it was like 1 am when we finally got around to taking pictures. What do you all think??

I feel like tight updos like the pics you posted are kind of "prommy" to me- like something i would’ve worn my junior year- i think that something more elgant is appropriate
ps- your pics didn’t come up of you though– ๐

I have to agree with LilMisPriss. It’s kind of outdated. But who knows, it may work on you. Would love to see pictures.

the photobucket photo "hair 1" is that your hair? I LOVE that hairstyle. It’s loose, but very chic…
I will agree with the other bees about the original post photos. I’m more partial to looks that are timeless!

Love your updo! Yours turned out way better than your inspiration picture. I just wish I had long enough and thick enough hair to pull it off ๐

I think it’s nice ๐ If that’s what you like, then go for it! It’s not something I would choose, but I got my pick, and now it’s yours lol I prefer the loose hair look overall anyay. I dont think there is an "timeless" hair style! lol

i think if you took the style that your hairstylist did in your trial and moved it further down onto the nape of your neck, it would be beautiful and more the look you’re going for. Also, I’m not sure about the two pieces in the front (I’m guessing bangs you are growing out?). Maybe she could find a way to work them back into the rest of your hair.

@joeswifey: I meant timeless overall style, not just hairstyles lol. I guess that comment was a little out of place. Hairstyles are always changing, but there are some that are more trendy than others and eventually will look extremely dated. I feel like classic is always better ๐
Okay… now that I know which picture is which, your hair looks great!! I think your hairdresser did a great job combining the two photos you chose as an inspiration! Are you going to be wearing a veil too?

I feel like the pieces that criss-cross across the bottom look a little out of place, only because they’re not a focus of your hairstyle like they are in the first inspiration photo. I think it might be a cleaner look if the hair was pulled straight up from your neck into the base of the hairstyle.

the first one is of the hair i love but i want it higher, the one from the first post is 2 high for me. I do plan on wearing a veil. I am 5’2 and my dress has a corset back so i want the veil to end where the corset ends so i dont know where i want to wear the veil on my head. I am having a problem The lady i love that does my hair wont be able to do it because we are getting married an hour from where she is at. Anyways i dont know if i should have my hair lady do it and take a picture of it so the lady can do it on the wedding day or?? i dont want to make her mad that i went to someone else to do another updo. The lady that did my hair trial said if i dont like it then i can come back and they can redo it for another 45 bucks . what do you ladies think??

Well, my wedding hair looked quite different than my hair trial. Not sure why cause there wasn’t much I wanted changed, but I don’t know if I would give her another $45 to try it again unless you were really unhappy with it. They shouldn’t get mad about something like that!

Also loving your version! It’s much softer than the first pic you posted. The stylist did a great job of combining those two looks!
