Hello Toronto Bees,
I am looking for someone to sew my veil. I have the materials but I would like a professional to sew it. I went to Sussmans on Queen and they told me $200. (I want a cathedral length) I know it is average but I am looking for a cheaper alternative. I even called the hat lady at http://www.hatsmade.com but she is going on vacation this week and wont have time to make it before the wedding.
Any suggestions?

Yikes! $200. Have you tried Etsy to find local seamstresses? My sewing studio http://www.lovesewing.com/ offers custom sewing services. Good luck!

I wish I saw your message before. I took it to a seamstress I found on craigslist. She is sewing it to the comb rounding it off and then I am going to take it to Pacific Mall to the Bling Designer to get swarovski crystals put on.

That still seems like a good idea! Remember at Pacific Mall you can always bargain. 🙂 Good luck!
