Im so sad the venue I wanted to have my wedding at closed. The venue I had picked was puddingstone in California. I went on the website and found out that after 30 years it has closed. Now I have no idea where I want to hold my wedding at. Any suggestions?

Pretty sure it’s more than just that. The pictures of weddings are beautiful and they have a 4.5 rating On wedding wire…..

That’s too bad. I just did a search since I was intrigued by the Hot Tub Resort! It looks like for weddings it would be gorgoues, would have been unique for sure! I wish we had something nearly as unique here in good ol’ Illinois! I am sure you’ll find something, California is beautiful! Good Luck!

The photos looked so scenic. No wonder you are sad 🙁 I just did a google venue search, and I’m not in Calif. but just looking at photos online, Wedgewood Sierra La Verne Country Club looks like it has lovely scenery also. Definitely not the same, I’m sure. http://www.wedgewoodbanquet.com/wedding-venue/sierra-la-verne-country-club

I live in the area. For something similar, u may want to check out Padua Hills in Claremont, Pomona Valley Mining Co, or Coco Palm. That’s all I can think of right now that has a view

- Wedding: October 2018 - Villa de Amore in Temecula, CA
I had no idea Puddingstone was also a wedding venue. I am from the area. We just booked our venue in Temecula. It’s an all inclusive venue called Villa de Amore.

beautiful venue, I live out in the Temecula area
OP, there are many gorgeous venues here in Southern California! What general area are you trying to stay in? I’ve had several friends and family members get married within 100 miles of me so I may have some suggestions depending on where you’re trying to stay centralized.

I’m not from California but I had a similar situation happen to me….except my venue was booked and we were 6 months from the wedding! This was the only place I wanted my wedding at and was excited we got in with the date I wanted. I remember I got a phone call from my aunt who works for a local college. She was calling to tell me that my wedding venue had been sold to the college and was closing in December (this happened in November…wedding was the following May). I remember being in a state of total panic and thanks to my mom and Maid/Matron of Honor, we had a new venue by the end of the day. In the end, it ended up that the new venue exceeded my expectations and my wedding was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! So don’t give up hope….everything will work out and may even be better than you thought! Good luck!
