I was never upset about the cost of my venue, but while working on my budget today, I checked their site and see that they have dropped their prices (its not a sale, the prices have legitimately gone down.. 10$ per head and $100 rental fee) and they offer more things in the package than when I signed my contract (for example, you can get ready all day at the venue -which is a mansion with a bridal suite- which i really wanted to do but couldn’t affor)
Should I talk to them and see if I can at least get the suite for the day to get ready if not money taken off my total? I just can’t believe this!

Yes, I really think you should contact them to see if you can renegotiate your contract. Chances are they should at the very least allow you the use of the bridal suite.

You can talk to them, it can’t hurt anything, but going in, know that you signed the contract and they have no obligation to change it. They might be willing to out of good will.

I would suggest contacting them. Be very polite and mention that you were showing their website to a friend and noticed the prices had gone down and packages had changed. Ask if you could take advantage of the deals. I bet they would be willing to give you a few freebies.

Yeah I would call them and see if you can negotiate. They should have known at the time that prices were going to go down. Businesses just don’t say on a Monday, “Hey! Let’s drop our prices starting tomorrow!”

I agree, talk to them and see what they say. They probably won’t lower the cost of your bill but maybe there are a few other things (like getting ready there the day of) that they can throw in that doesn’t really cost them extra money.

Yea, I think you should talk to them. It won’t hurt anything if you’re not too pushy. But just remember, you signed a contract so they have every right to say no.

Definitely get a hold of them and ask them to include what they are now offering as part of their new deal. However, i doubt they will change the price for you now.

I agree with the others, I doubt they will change the price, but they will probably throw in some of the new package goodies to keep you happy (especially getting ready at the venue, it costs them nothing and it’s an easy fix)
