I don’t really know what you’re asking.  Do you want a sample contract?  Or how to simply ask for one?

If you want a contract, you need to have everything they’re provided written out, with the pricing that goes with it:
 — Steak Dinner for X Guests – $25.99 x X = Z1
 — Chicken Dinner for Y Guests – $22.99 x Y = Z2

Make sure it includes everything you are expecting them to provide: linens, candles, centerpieces, alcohol, appetizers, entree, corkage fees, cake cutting fees, dishwares, etc.

Can you talk to them about the cost of the bar?  Acknowledge that you know they need to make a profit, but were unaware that the cost they quoted you didn’t contain alcohol.  Ask if there’s any way they can work with you to ensure that both sides are happy — that they aren’t being jipped and losing money, but that you aren’t feeling taken advantage of.

Good luck!
