Hi im looking for a nice wedding venue in nj! My budget is about $80 per person but thats including the tax and grats so i guess more like $70 per person. I only have about 60 ppl so I do need a small venue. I would like to stay around $5500 for the venue, food and full open bar. If anyone has any info they think might help please please let me know. I am doing a winter wedding so Im hoping I can get a nice place for cheaper.

@1denise2: North/south/ or central jersey? I am in the north and I know of a couple places. I am having 50 ppl and our budget was under 100 dollars a person.

Pantaigis Renaissance (not sure I spelled the first word correctly) has a TON of different size rooms, and The Graycliff in Moonachie was insanely cheap.

@1denise2: Thank you! We are having our reception at bacari grill, $80 dollars a person (beer wine and soda included) $85 dollars a person for a full open bar, minumum of 50 people required.
I also visited, El Tulipano. It was about $90-$100 dollars a person. It was gorgeous! If you like the banquet hall setting for a smaller intimate wedding, they have the perfect area. They also have an outdoor area for a ceremony if you want.
The Ho-ho-kus inn was also nice, I believe it was $90-$110 a person. The decor was very old fashioned but they had a couple of different small rooms, and one bigger room. You had many different options on ceremony space reception space cocktail space.
The olde mill inn was the full package, for $95 dollars a person there was an outdoor space for a ceremony, as well as an under a tent back up which was very cute, an upstairs room/and deck for cocktail hour, and a downstairs reception room. Nicely decorated, plus they included a free night at there hotel!
Thats all I can think of from the top of my head but we visited about 11 places.
Tell me more about what your looking for and maybe I can think of something else.
Do you want something with a ceremony location as well? How fancy or casual do you want your wedding to be?
🙂 I know it took us 6 months to find the perfect place that matched us. But we did!
