I dont know of venues sorry as i live in Australia, But sending hugs, and I hope you find something soon. Where you are having your ceremony could you hire a Marquee? or if there are any properties/farm land that have space to set a marquee up or even have a shed or barn you could use and hire a caterer?

What do you mean when you say that you booked it 8 months ago? Don’t you have an official signed  contract?

@emeraldcity13:  what venue was it?  I got married at Hycroft (you have to use one of their caterers though).  What style are you looking for?  If you can tell the venue I can try and think of something similar!

@emeraldcity13:  this sucks.  do you get your deposit back??

unfortunately these things can happen.  well, don’t dwell on it.  start calling around other venues and hopefully you can find one that you like.

look at it this way,  if this venue doesn’t really care to do weddings anymore but just did the ones that were already booked, i couldn’t imagine getting the best service from them.  you are better off with a new venue.

my previous wedding, the caterer closed less than a month before my wedding.  i had 3 weeks to find a new caterer, in june.  we ended up finding one who was better and actually cheaper than my original.
