I am in need of some serious help with locating a reasonable wedding venue. I am looking for something that is no more than 45 p/p. The only places I have found are the Philadelphia Quartet Club (http://www.philaquartettcountryclub.com/ordereze/Catering/1/PackageDetails.aspx) which is very nice, and inexpensive but a friend of mine had their reception their not to long ago, and ehh for some reason that turns me off from wanting to have my wedding there! I know it’s silly. I found another venue but was super turned off because I drove 45 minutes into Jersey for the Lakeside Manor, and the person who was suppose to give me a tour didn’t show up and didn’t answer their phone! I didn’t get a call from them until a half hour after our appointment, in which I had already given up and headed home. The outside was pretty dumpy so I wasn’t super interested in the place after I arrived anyway.
So PLEASE can anyone point me in the direction of a affordable, 45 p/p or under venue!

@cookexbd: What is considered affordable? We need something to go on. What’s your budget?

Were you referring to McFadden Catering?
I’m sorry, most venues in this area dont really provide a meal per head at that price point…believe me i looked.:/ would you consider a restaurant?
Edgemont caterers is cheap but not really a lavish building.i believe their plates are about $40pp.

I would look into Pnp or Marjeane Catereres. Your budget is pretty low for the area. You may want to consider alternatives like brunch or something

- Wedding: September 2013 - The Gables at Chadds Ford
It may be a little late- but for other Bees reading this, The Gables at Chadds Ford, in Chadds Ford, PA is very affordable. They are raising their prices a bit with their new management and bridal suite, but it seems that even with an alcohol package, there are many affordable menu options. http://www.thegablesatchaddsford.com
