Have you checked out the Manor in West Orange? It’s fairly pricey, but BEAUITFUL. It’s the only one I really know of in North Jersey as I am more South Jersey.

@AlwaysForever97: Check out the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge. I’m actually getting the winter special there for our March ’13 wedding in their Grain Room (this is for small weddings, but they have rooms for much bigger as well).
Congratulations and best of luck with planning!

Hi there! I was recently to a wedding at Il Tulipano – it was beautiful! HUGE cocktail hour with tons of stations, plated dinner, giant room for Viennese hour – I would guess way over $130pp but maybe they offer packages at different price points? Food was delicious and the venue is beautiful.
I was also recently to a wedding at The Mezzanine in Newark – similar type of event, again great food but probably pretty pricey? Catering was by Frungillo caterers, again really delicious food – I think they cater at some other venues as well in the North Jersey area so maybe a name to look for?
I’ve also been to non-wedding events at The Grove in Cedar Grove and the Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset – both gorgeous venues, great food and great service and can hold many guests (the Grove up to 600+ and the Palace 400-500 I think). These were charity gala events (I was working, not as a guest – I wish, haha!) so I’m not sure what their range of options is pricewise, can only comment on the experience.
Best of luck! Congratulations on your engagement and hope this helps.

@emthebrave: Thank You! I’ve attended a wedding a The Palace it’s gorgeous yes but i think there is just to much going on. I think i wanna get married at a place that only host one wedding at a time. I will look into the other 2 and thank you so very much on the information about Il Tulipano 🙂

@AlwaysForever97: Hi, not sure if this is the vibe you’re going for, but we are getting married next year at Prallsville Mill in Stockton, NJ.
Looking for a cheap DJ in that area too, if anybody has suggestions feel free to PM me 🙂

Seasons does more than one wedding at a time but it is a gorgeous venue and they gave me a quote of $110 per person including tax and gratuity. I didnt find anyplace that was $130 for a Friday night that only hosted one wedding at a time unless you want to try one of the older halls (ie: Grand Marquis) and I dont know how many they host either.

Il Villaggio in Carlstadt is giving us $125 pp on a Sunday – they’d probably be close to that on a Friday in March because it’s off season. The Elan in Lodi and The Atrium in West Orange are also probably in your price range for that date.

We used The Graycliff in Moonachie and couldn’t be happier. It was in your price range and the larger room hold up to 300 I believe.

I’m considering Grounds For Sculpture for our wedding in 2014. I think their space holds up to 300 as well. Has anyone ever been to a wedding there? I know it’s an art gallery / gardens. Pictures look really amazing, can’t remember my last visit.
I’m planning to go to check out the space next month at a bridal show call Say I Do Wedding Show. Hope it’s good.
ooo Free admission, just found on their site http://www.sayidowedding.com
