Well, you’re almost there!!! I’m assuming you can study after the wedding, in four short months, right?

That does sound frustrating.  Do you have anyone else who can help with wedding planning (fiance, family, friend, or whoever)?  If you could delegate some of that, it might free up some time.  Otherwise, I’d just try to schedule designated wedding and studying time.  For a few hours a day, can you get out of the house (or at least away from your computer and your wedding planning stuff!) and focus entirely on your studying?  I’m supposed to be studying right now, but naturally I’m wasting time on the computer instead 🙂  So I feel your pain.  But maybe it would help if you literally schedule a blcok of time to work on each thing, and try to stick to it as closely as possible.  Don’t even think about the wedding for 3 hours (or whatever) in the morning and bury yourself in a school book (easier said than done, of course!).   I also find it helps to try to do planning stuff at night, while watching tv or a movie.  Then at least it’s entertaining.  Do you have friends who are studying for the same exam?  A weekly study group would probably be really helpful (and it would help distract from the wedding stuff).  Good luck!!

So funny bc i am pretty much in the same boat only I have to take a 2 part State Board test to get my instructors license besfore July or I lose all my hours and then the time I spent furthering my education was a waste of time & money… I have until the first of July to take my Exam and guess what I havent looked at that material well since July 09!!!! I honestly know there is no way that I could pass this test today if my life depended on it.

No matter how hard I want to sit down and study all i seem to ever want to do is plan my wedding. I also work full time & am a mother of a 6 year old.

so my plan is  cut back some hours at work (which hurts bc this is how i am funding our entire wedding)…. get as much done as humanly possible & capable in the next 2 months  & box it away and call it done.

then make myself study at least 3 hours a day until i feel comfortable with taking my test which i plan to do at least the first week or two of june

Hang in there sweetie not long to go.  I took a year out of college and have been temping full time so I could plan (and pay!) for my wedding (boy am I glad I did!).  I start back at college in October (my wedding is in June).  It’s like riding a bike, when you go back to it after July it will come back to you I’m sure.  Don’t add any more to your plate just now, plenty time after you’re married 😉 A x

I’m taking the bar exam the week of my wedding.  I definitely am not having a wedding with tons of cutesy details because I just do not have the time.  But honestly? It has made wedding planning pretty easy and I don’t think I’m going to have a hard time managing because I have few things left on my list to do and my wedding is still four months away.  It does make me a little sad that my wedding won’t be “blog worthy” but I know the important part–me getting married to Fiance will not be changed by those little details.
