I am finally to the point where I want to start working on our wedding website, but I’m a little bit overwhelmed by all the options. I’m not exactly an expert web person.
I know that I want a custom domain name so I’m prepared to pay for it. I really like flash intros. I’m leaning towards online RSVPs. I’ve looked at a few places ewedding, wedorama, and nearlyweds. I’m just not in love with any of the designs.
Has anyone had a good (or bad) experience with their website? Any suggestions?

I used mywedding too, but I’m not sure it would give you what you want. I would suggest checking out a nearby university/college that offers technology classes to see if there are any students in the know who would be willing to design one for you for a nominal price. As long as you buy the name I’m sure they’d be willing to do it for not very much.

We’re using wedsite.com… it lets you use a password, which is totally worth the 49$ for a year. You can get a domain name for 19$ if you really want one! I think it’s worth having the password, though, because Mr. KM’s employers WILL google him when it’s time to put out his papers.

We used http://www.weddingwire.com for our website. I personally liked the templates and different options they offer – you can add as many pages as needed, no charge.
I also found their online budget manager very handy, as well as the address book for vendor contacts.
