Somebody here recommended Wix, which is what I used and loved. One of the groomsman actually told my FI that whoever we hired to design our website did an awesome job, LOL.

Wix itself is free, but I did pay to remove ads (pretty cheap IIRC, I want to say $5-7) and purchased a custom domain name from 1&1.

i am having a rainforest destination wedding and gravitate toward “hip”, contemporary “design. i looked at ALOT of sites offering free websites. at first i was going to go with weddingwindow because their paid designs were so cool but then I discovered they were free and had really ‘offbeat’ designs. you may want to check it out – you can customize all of your web pages if you wanted to.

I only paid to get my my own personal domain name (i did it on my own – something like $6 a year from My website is if you want to take a look
