Hi Beehive! What do you write on your wedding website biography? I’m not sure if I should write everything I’ve done/accomplished as I don’t want to sound self-absorbed/cocky?? Or it prob won’t seem that way because it is a biography on my wedding site? What did you guys write about?

This is mine:
CP is also many things: outgoing, cheerful and always analytical (in a good way, of course). She’s also currently a senior at Clemson in Political Science and is considering going into the field of political media and advertising. She enjoys taking tons of pictures of just about anything, learning Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator and trying or creating new recipes, both baking and cooking. Someday, CP would like to figure out how to live in Ikea as well as visit a Swedish Ikea, go to Italy and make wine, and visit Fenway Park, especially the Green Monster (literally, the monster guy in the costume).
Ours are kind of quirky and fun! 🙂
At the end of the page, we have a section about our interests together, as well. We figure the background helps people think of gifts or something to say to us/conversation starters for the reception for these people we really don’t know well at all.

Here’s the text from ours:
“E. grew up in Newton, MA. In 2003 she returned to the Boston area to attend graduate school to get her Ph.D. in astronomy. P. grew up in Andover, MA. He went to college for architecture in Boston and then was hired to a local firm. E. and P. both love the Red Sox, trying new food, traveling, the beach, and their pet rabbit Harper. This past fall, E. and P. moved across the country to California for E.’s new job. They are excited to be coming home to New England to celebrate their wedding in Northeast Harbor, Maine with all of their closest friends and family.”
