I’m using projectwedding.com because I wanted a free one and liked their designs. I was using weddingwire.com but building the website was not as easy. I still use the planning tool on weddingwire, though. Projectwedding is going to be releasing an rsvp tool very soon as well.

There’s also mywedding.com, which seems to be popular.

i used mywedding… really simple, clean, easy to use…

i used to my webpages back in the day and was going to attempt designing our own… but there’s way too many DIY projects on the list that the website had to take a back seat…

luckily the free one on mywedding.com is perfect for us!

I’m using Google Sites. It’s free and customizable. I think the true wedding websites are good if you can find something in your colors. I couldn’t.

Also, to avoid having guests visit “googlesites.com/blahblah” I bought a domain name for $7 from Godaddy. You can then set it up to forward to your site and “mask” the google name.

We are using mywedding.com.  I agree w/ missjyc.  It is free, very simple, user-friendly, and has designs you can choose from.  I tried using other websites but mywedding.com was the easiest to use.  Good luck!

We’re using momentville.com .  We found it way easier to use than any other site, its free, and has lots of nice extra features like planning tools too.  The other big benefit is that its not just for weddings, so we have a website for our baby on their too.

We used weddingtracker.com because the knot promoted them, and I hate it!  It’s really hard to customize, has a lot of text limits and is expensive.

I set up a blog site using wordpress.com.  We didn’t run it as a blog–I just wanted the option to make it much simpler than the knot and the other free wedding sites I looked at.  No music, no cutsey backgrounds, just very clean and plain.  Information only.
