Hello! Now that school is over I can finally devote some time to planning the festivities (even though I have lots of time ahead of me – I am quite the planner).
I want to recreate a website for friends and family to follow for the next year+ Does anyone have any recommendations for free wedding websites? Thanks!

I used the free website tool on brides.com. It has password protection and an RSVP function (if you want to use it). I really liked the layout/format. Easy to use and personalize!!

My fiance and I used mywedding.com and we really like it for a free site. It is easy to use and we found a nice design that suited our wedding.

WeddingWire.com is what I’m using to keep track of the checklist and budget. It’s shareable so I gave access to my fiance and my mother. It’s great that they can see it and make changes as needed.

i used to google sites because i wanted to make it myself and the pre-made sites didn’t seem to have a lot of freedom. I used the forms function on google docs for RSVPs so all of the responses will be automatically pulled into a spreadsheet.

I really like momentville.com’s site. There are a ton of options for your site with nice designs.

I agree….weddingwire.com is great. It has a great “binder” that lets you save pics, links, and other cool stuff, and keep them in categories. I also like theknot.com. It has a really nice set up for guest list. Both also have a template for seating charts, which is neat.

weddingwire.com also allows music! It’s fun! I created a “fake” one on the knot as well, with a link to weddingwire.com

We used Weddingwindow.com, and I really liked it. We paid the extra to have our own domain name also:

It’s not free, but I used wedsite.com. I absolutely love it and it was worth the $60 for two years. You can find coupons online for $10 off (or at least there was when I signed up!). If you want to see it, PM me and I’ll send you our site and password 🙂

I’m happy with the one by weddingchannel.com — it’s free and there’s plenty of options!
