I would make sure your sodium is low, take walks and/or exercise, and drink water. I would try not to drink too much water the day before because that will water blaot you right back up. Exercise is going to be your best friend as well as relaxing and making sure you watch your sodium.

Um… I ate whatever the hell I wanted during my wedding week, haha.  I know it’s not healthy, but I was like, I paid my dues for the past 6 months.  What I do this week isn’t going to hurt me until after the wedding anyway.

I’ll just be watching my sodium and drinking lots of water.

Along with avoiding salt, I’ll be staying away from certain veggies (i.e. celery, broccoli, fennel) which even though they are healthy and I love eating them, make me quite bloated.  Same thing with milk products.

I will also be drinking plenty of water and green tea… it just makes me feel so fresh!

I didn’t actively do anything except avoid sodium like the plague (which only really sucked during our rehearsal dinner when delicious smelling soup was served and I had to pass because I knew it would make me bloated in my wedding dress the next day). Otherwise, I was mostly too excited/nervous/woundup to have much of an appetite, and worked out a lot as a stress reliever (I worked out for an hour in the hotel gym the morning of my wedding even, it started off my day so zen!)
