So, how many of you ladies are trying to lose weight for your wedding? I have gained about 20 pounds in the past 5 years, and I would like to shed it before the wedding. My dress comes in at the end of April, and I want to be down to my ideal weight by then.
What are you doing to lose weight? I work out with a personal trainer 2 times per week, and I cut my calories down to 1,400-1,500. (This is a big cut for me, since I used to average about 3,000 per day!) I have lost about 7 pounds in the past 2 weeks! It would be great to lose 15 more. I feel VERY motivated lately, which is so unlike me. 🙂

@WedInWI: I have been half assedly trying to lose weight for about a year (or rather, all my life), but now that I’m getting married, I’ve gotten myself in gear. I hate to say I’m one of those people who lost weight for their wedding, but I need to lose about 30 lbs and I might as well do it now! My wedding is in November. A couple of years ago I dropped 20 in one school term, so I know I can do it by then.
I’m back into running three times a week, and soon to be starting up at the gym. For diet, I follow the 4-hr body slow carb diet, which I highly recommend. I also do intermittent fasting, although more for the health benefits than for losing weight.

I am not trying to lose weight..just need to massively tone..I am super short, about 5’2″ and weigh about 104-106. I am thin, but have some areas that definitely make me self-conscious, as all women have; the typical places, belly, love handles, butt. Trying to eat healthy and work out, but the weather is so darn cold that I have like zero motivation to work out.
