Definitely! Eat healthy and exercise regularly. Cardio is good, but don’t forget to incorporate strength training! I plan to do the exact same as you.. in fact I just bought a stationary bike to workout at home.

Yes! It’s possible. I have 2.5 months left till mine here is what I am doing and it is working!

1) figure out how many calories you need to take in daily to maintain your current weight (there are many calculators online – just google) and eat 500 calories less daily. Use a calorie tracker like spark people, fitday, myfitnesspal. If you have an iphone it’s super easy, fruit and veggies, you search and everything else you can scan barcodes! WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING YOU EAT, even if you go over. 

IF YOU HAVE A BAD DAY, DO NOT GIVE UP. START AGAIN THE NEXT DAY!

2) Eat mostly lean proteins and veggies. Go to the grocery store on a day you have time, stock up on proteins that are EASY (anything that can be grilled easily, tuna etc) and veggies, fruits that you enjoy. When you get home, wash and chop your veggies and place them in ziplock bags for easy access. Currently in my fridge I have bags of shredded washed lettuce, red pepper sticks, celery sticks, broccoli florets, chopped onions, carrots, watermelon, oranges, pears. when you’re busy grab these as snacks, to make salads or healthy stir frys. I have a crazy schedule and hate cooking but this makes my life easy so i dont make bad choices. 

CUT ALL WHITE FLOUR, RICE, POTATOES, SUGAR

3) google and consider intermittent fasting. this is contrary to eating 3-6 small meals and snacks a day, but instead you fast for a period (usually 20 hrs) and give yourself a 5 hour feeding window. it works well for me because once I eat my blood sugar is less than stable and i am hungry all day – I personally eat between 3-7 pm daily and have a hard stop at 7 pm. 

4) Cardio is good but weights are better. incorporate some compound movements into your routine. you can find AMAZING advice on youtube – search for the Nolan twins – burning fat for women or check this website for information on how to get started: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/berardi12.htm. It doesnt have to take long or be intimidating and you dont neccesarily need a gym membership. i was super intimidated at first and now i love it.
