Like many of you out there, I don’t like the idea of guestbooks at wedding receptions. They’re often boring, left un-signed, or the line is too long to actually get a word in.
So I at first decided to do a wishing tree, using cut paint chips for the tags. But then what would you do with the tree? Put it in your home? Yeah, I live in a tiny apartment. Not really feasible. I could put the tags in a book, but let’s be honest; that wouldn’t happen for a loooong time.
But what about a wish-WALL?
I thought about using the paint chips I have (they’re solid colors), have them on a table or in a bowl, and then give the guests pins to attachthem to a fabric-covered foam board.
What do you think? Have any of you tried a wish-wall before? Did people get it?
Here are two inspiration pics I found. My colors are gray and purple, so I could punch out shapes from the paint chips I already have and give guests pins to stick them. Which do you like best?
Option 1 (I’d probably use flowers or something):
Option 2: Simple & elegant.
