I had an idea the other day to cut squares of fabric for a quilt and have each guest sign a square with wedding wishes during the ceremony, I think it would be cool to put it all together afterward and have a blanket filled with wedding wishes. What do you think?

I’ve heard of doing that, it sounds cool. Would you actually assemble the squares afterward? That’s important to consider. I can’t decide what to do. I was thinking maybe having “index cards” for people to write their well-wishes on. Then we could store them in our card box and take them out once in a while.

I think that’s a fabulous idea! I considered it, but I wanted something that wouldn’t fade or anything after use/storing out in the open 🙁

I’ve seen this done a few places. I think it’s a great idea! It’d make a great heirloom.
