(Closed) Weddingbee has been running slower on my PC recently

I concur, however I’ve only been experiencing it today. I haven’t been on the Bee long enough to experience it for a month, but today I’ve been having problems.

At first I thought it was the computer, becuase my work computer is a piece, but I’m having the same problems now at home.

I have noticed that it runs slower ever since I disabled the pop up blocker for the entire website. Now it takes forever to load all of the ads on the side. It almost freezes for me.

Hello Ladies,

  I’m one of the tech guys for Weddingbee and wanted to give you an update. We’ve released a few changes today designed to speed things up and eliminate some of the slowness you have been experiencing.

We’ve seen some improvement, but we really want to make sure that you do too! Please let us know if your experience has improved recently.

@pinkmonkee – What popup blocker did you install?  Wondering what happened… Weddingbee has actually never served popup ads, so not sure why a blocker would cause slowness.

YES! But it’s weird, it’s only slow when I’m writing a comment on a blog post. I’ll type a few words, and they won’t show up until a few seconds later. The rest of the site acts perfectly normal, but comment on the blogs has been a royal pain in my ass lately.

The page is working for me, but I’ve noticed my Internet Explorer freezing lately, and usually when I have multiple tabs of WB open. My computer was purchased brand new in October with upgraded memory/ram/yadda yadda yadda, and I frequently have as many or more tabs of other websites open, so I don’t think that is the problem. Multiple times in the last week, I have had to use Task Manager to close my browser and reboot the session. I thought maybe it was a virus or something, but all my scans have come up clean, and I have only noticed it with WB. The last time it did this was this morning, so hopefully the changes made today will help!
