Our wedding was August 7th in Freedom, NY and it was perfect! We just got back from our honeymoon last night and I’ve been going through pro pics all day at work to decide what to post here.
A little bit of info about the wedding:
Location: Freedom, NY (tiny little town about an hour south of Buffalo)
Photographer: Dustin McKibben – McKibben Photography
Dinner: Dinosaur BBQ
We had a Catholic ceremony in the church I attended when I was younger, followed by cocktail hour, reception, and after-party on my parents’ farm. Cocktail hour took place by the pond and gazebo with appetizers, drinks, and a string quartet. Dinner and dancing followed in the barn that we had to completely redo in the last few months (install electricity, put down a floor, decorate, etc.) and the night was capped off by a fireworks display in the field. After that, everyone changed into jeans and tshirts for a bonfire and more celebrating.
Almost everything about our wedding was DIY including all of the stationery/paper products and the chandelier that we hung in the barn (we made it a few days before the wedding).
Here they are:

@mrskesslertobe: thanks! the boots were a backup after my cute lil ivory shoes starting hurting. we all wore cowboy boots and sundresses to the rehearsal so they were easily acessible 🙂

Are those carnations I see all over the place? I love your bouquet and all the floral details, they look so beautiful and yet carnations are so underrated.
Oh and hanging tulle around the cake? I’m so stealing that idea.
