I really wanted to elope, like really really wanted too, but instead we settled on a destination wedding in Cuba. That’s all find and dandy and im sure it’ll be great but im still wanting something just the two of us, a photographer and our dog, so I was thinking maybe we would do a normal ceremony, then afterwards, or maybe before, we would go out with a photographer, his suit, the dress I wanted to wear (which isnt a white wedding dress), and our dog and read each other our actual vows jsut the two of us.
Is this too much? Or any other suggestions?

What if afterwards you went with the two of you and the photog and dog to a private place with pretty views, and you can read each other letters? I’d probably do something different than what you’ll recite during the wedding so it’ll feel more unique and not like you’re just regurgitating information privately. Or potentially do it as a ‘first look’ and write letters to each other, and then read them privately before the ceremony?

You’re bringing your dog to Cuba? I assume you’re not staying a typical resort then…?

Why can’t you read your vows at the ceremony? Am I reading that wrong?

Cuba isn’t very strict on pets just need recent vaccinations & pet passport. They won’t quarantine. Is it a service animal?
