I just have to rant about the terrible time I’ve been having with weddingpaperdivas!! We ordered sample invites months ago, but ended up using a different designer. We did, however, decide to order thank you notes (50% off, hello!) this past week. We chose a customized color, and got a response (4 days later) saying that design was not customizable. what?!! why would you let me customize it if it’s not customizable?! whatever, we let it go, chose another design and used one of their preapproved colors, but I get a proof IN THE WRONG COLOR. I ask them to change it and they say that this design is ALSO not customizable!! WE DIDN’T CHOOSE A CUSTOM COLOR. I even chose a color that matches a sample invite we previously ordered. Slightly miffed, to say the least. I would definitely not recommend them. ever. end rant.

How did they respond when you told them it wasn’t a custum color?
I’ve only had AMAZING experiences with WPD. We ordered Save-The-Date Cards, invitations (from the William Arthur line), and thank yous. All are beautiful and arrived early. The value is incredible for the quality.

Maybe due to the sale they only had certain colors left? Or it wasn’t applicable to “custom” colors?Sorry you have a bad experience. We ordered our Thank You cards from them and it was a flawless experience.

Yah, be careful. I order thank you notes from them and they didn’t fit into the envelopes they provided. Just a shade to big.

Oh right, we actually ordered the STD’s from them too and now that I think about it the envelopes for those were too big. The STD’s slid around in them.

I too had a not great experience. The pocketfolds were flimsy and looked like something out of construction paper. Many girls on this board LOVE wedding paper divas, but that was not my experience

That’s so odd!! We just ordered thank you notes and 8 rehearsal dinner invite samples from WPD and had an excellent experience. They sent us a proof of our customizable Thank You notes, like, 5 minutes after I placed the oder, even though it said it may take 24 hours. I jsut sent my first batch of couples shower Thank You notes on my WPD stationery and they were perfect. Got lots of compliments! Sorry you’ve had a bad experience!

Sorry for your bad experiences, I’m not using them for my wedding invites, but I’ve used them several times for others and they always been really good to me.

I’m sorry yopu have not had a good experience with them. We used WPD for our Rehearsal Dinner invites and our photo thank you notes, and had a very pleasant experience with them.

I’m so sorry for your frustrating experience! Did you call Customer Service?
I actually just completed my STD magnet order this morning. I ordered them a month ago with no picture, they allow you to order and send in pictures later, then I made all sorts of changes and custom color requests today. They were awesome to work with, honored a promo code from a month ago, and had a proof for me in 5 minutes flat.
I think calling them and expressing your frustration will result in A) getting what you paid for and B) maybe something extra.

i did definitely call, but all they said was sorry, dunno why the website is like that (thanks a bunch). they finally responded again saying they didn’t realize we chose one of their preapproved colors and fixed everything but yeesh! i still think it’s pretty bad customer service to advertise being able to do something and then saying oops, just kidding…

@mrskmk: You’re right, the experience should not have been so frustrating. Maybe a follow-up email to them, to sum up the whole experience, would help get something in return (a future discount?). I think you’re owed that.
