I’m sorry that your dreams for the wedding didn’t come true…but I agree with everyone else…you should plan a vow renewal!

Plan a vow renewal, just the two of you, for your 1 year anniversary. You don’t need much money – you can wear your dress, he can wear a suit, and just have a really special moment at some picturesque location, like a park. You could even do it on a mini-vacation! That would be extra special. Definitely have pictures of it taken, too – with a student photographer or a good friend.

Sorry to hear it didn’t turn out well, but your marriage is what matters!

I’m sorry to hear that your day didn’t turn out as expected. If you feel like filling us in, we’re all here to support you!

Also, if you ever watched Sex and the City – when Charlotte and Harry got married, Carrie tells Charlotte that the worse the wedding the better the marriage. Sounds like you guys are on your way to a golden anniversary anyhow!

Aww, Chocoholic, that sucks so bad. Big hugs! I think a one-year vow renewal would be wonderful. I would jump at the chance to wear my dress again 🙂

AWWWWW I’m so sorry to hear that!!! You deserve the very best and I hope that you feel better soon! Hopefully you can do something like the others have suggested and do a vow renewal….maybe you could even bring your dress and he could bring a suit on your honeymoon and you could have a special ceremony with just the two of you!! That actually sounds VERY romantic and perfect!!

I’m so sorry your day did not go as you planned and wanted it too.  I know it must hurt, a lot.

I agree with the others, do a vow renewal in a year, or two, or however long you need to save up and do it as you feel it should have been done.  If it’s five years — sure it would be hard to wait that long but think about how sweet it would be to celebrate five years of MARRIED love.  You guys deserve it!

More hugs for you:
