Bees, I need your help! I’ve had a vision in my head for the longest time of exactly what I wanted my bridemaids to wear. Well, I cannot find dresses to match my vision 🙁 lomg story short, after tons of searching I am considering changing my original shades of coral/peach/apricot color pallette. So what do you guys suggest for my new pallette? My favorite color is orange so I definitely want some orange or peach or orangey-coral in there, and I don’t want really bright colors- I want it to be elegant looking.
Things I know for sure:
i want each bridesmaid (4) in a different color dress
The girls will be in floor length chiffon dresses
I am having a summer wedding
Fiancé wants all the men in navy suits
Thanks in advance, bees! Feel free to post pics!!!

Our colors were royal blue and Orange! I just love the combo! I decided to have people wearing royal blue and use Oranges for the flowers, since Orange can be tricky to find a shade that looks good on people. Darling Husband and I had one person stand up for us, our sisters. So they were royal blue, Darling Husband was in royal blue and the flowers were shades of oranges with red, pink and white mixed in.
I know this doesn’t answer your question, but just offering it as an alternative suggestion. Navy goes with a lot so you could do blush, nude, cream, ivory? Good luck!

MrsFiveOh: I think you could add a wonderful orange-coral color to this palette:
or this: You could add Navy, for the guys, have the girls in peach, coral, gray & navy?

Have you been on the website http://greenweddingshoes.com/? It has tons of inspirational boards and pictures of real wedding to give you tons of idea. I just found this picture on their front page. . I think the colors they used for the bouquet are very elegant. I highly recommend this site.

MrsFiveOh: Summer wedding, please please go for a coral like colour. If I had to do it again I’d be doing coral, navy and turquoise, so can I live through you LOL. Seriously thought I think coral would be great for the summer and it pops against navy. Keep us updated with what you decide.

elderbee: those were my only colors, but I can’t find dresses I like. Everything is too pink and we don’t want pink. So I want something else but I still want some shade of orange in my wedding, but putting each bridesmaid in a shade of peach isn’t working.
I I really like peach and plum but fiancé hates it.
oOmrsstopaOo: thanks for the website suggestion, I’ve never heard of it! I’m not asking just for the dresses, that’s just the part I’m struggling to match with my vision. So I’m changing my vision.

how about something like this? It gets the orange away from their faces, which will make it easier for more skin tones to pull off. We just did orange as well, since it’s my favorite color, too. For us, the girls’ dresses were navy with bright orange flowers and crinolines and, as we were more casual than your wedding appears to be, the guys wore navy shirts and khakis. It was the best way to incorporate the color I really wanted without making my bridesmaid look ill or dead all day.
