My husband is an auto mechanic, so we went with tungsten carbide.  He loves not having to worry about his ring being damaged and never takes it off!

you should investigate a website that is not a mall jeweler; you will save sooo much money. Titanium and Tungsten are not precious metals like gold, and you should really pay like $20-50 for them. Try iweddingband.com, or even Amazon. Fiance got his tungsten ring from overstock.com and is really happy with it!
