Hi!
I am looking for some wedge sandals to wear for my June wedding. It is outside on a lawn, and I just don’t want to be sinking into the grass! Has anyone found any cute bridal wedge heels? My dress is ivory, and I want them to be about 4" tall because I am kind of short and my fiance is on the tall side…
Let me know if you have any ideas!

I’m not sure if this will be helpful, but have you tried searching zappos.com, endless.com, shoes.com, 6pm, etc? Many of them have ways to search by heel height. 4" may be too tall to have a lot of luck, but when I was looking for 1.5" it seemed like every wedge I saw was at lest 3"
Good luck!
(sorry, for some reason, I don’t know why I have no control over adding links… I hope some of those came through)

There are some cute wedges here in this site’s outdoor wedding section that you might want to check out 🙂

The shoe company Something Bleu styles: Trade, Temple
Coloriffics has several ones too. They’d probably be the cheapest (of the ones I’ve found)
If you really want to splurge Stuart Weitzman: Oboe

I was having the same problem finding cute wedges, so I purchased Clean Heels. You order them based on the width of the heel you will be wearing and the cover slides over the first inch of the heel, and has a hard plastic base that spreads the weight so you don’t put puncture holes in the ground. There are several locations in the UK that will ship to the US and have them here inside of a week! They’re less than $10 and I have already tested them out at several friends outdoor receptions!
No, I don’t get anything from promoting them, but this was LIVESAVER for me!

I’m so glad to see this post! I am in the same position as caitlinsuz – outdoor wedding on the grass, tall Fiance. All of the wedges I’d found were too clunky and ugly. But I really like the colorifics Shoegirl posted! This gives me some hope!

It’s so weird that we even have this problem — don’t a LOT of women get married outside? You’d think there would be more dressy wedges out there! I’ve been hemming and hawing on shoes for eons now. That Stuart Weitzman Oboe is to die for, but out of my reach at $350. Sad. I like that last pair that Shoegirl posted, and may consider that over the Melissa heart shoes (see pic) that I am seriously considering despite the fact that they aren’t wedges, grass be damned (hey, I’ll only walk the aisle once, and then we’ll be on a patio).
There are also the Lily Ann wedges:

I have the same issue – wedding on grass, so I bought two different pairs. One at Payless Shoes – ivory American Eagle wedges, and one pair from david’s bridal.com in Champagne. I haven’t decided which ones I will wear.
