What are your plans for the week leading up to your wedding?
I have a tradeshow in Phoenix (wedding in NYC) from Monday-Thursday (wedding SAT!). Hopefully my boss lets me leave Wed night bc I am freaking out! I still hate that I have to be in Phoenix the week of the wedding, but my wedding planner said everything should still be fine……I just have a bad feeling about it.
HAve any of you had to travel the week of your wedding??? How did you work it out???

My wedding is still quite far out, but I’m sure that getting ready to be away from work will be a nightmare. And then coming back…*shudder*

Its like on one hand I am so annoyed that I have to be across the country, but on the other hand what do people do the week of their wedding anyways??? I have no clue.

I’m not sure either. I do plan to take at least the Wed/Thurs/Fri off before the wedding to get last minute things done, but otherwise, everything should pretty well be organized I would gather? I’m very last minute and quite the procrastinator, so I’m sure I’ll be a mess that week haha.

Are you doing a lot of DIY? That’s like the only thing I can think of that would be made impossible if you’re traveling the week of. That, and last-minute dress stuff. So if you don’t have those to worry about, you’re probably ok. I feel like most of the stuff that can go wrong can be handled over email/phone in this day and age.

I’m planning on having the week off before the wedding so I can wind down from work, deal with anything from work that does come up in the first few days off and then I’m gonna lie round and relax!
Having said that I think that if you have a wedding planner and most of your wedding stuff is done, you should be all good!

You don’t know suckage until you have to turn in a 15-page paper that’s worth 50% of your grade and give two presentations…the day before your wedding. ;P
