What will you do/did you do to feel best on your big day? Be as specific as possible.
Im a runner so ill be running 10 miles a day starting 2 weeks out and doing upper body strength training (3-4 moves, 3 sets, 8-10 reps) every 2 days. I’ll stop strength training the Wednesday before just to give my body time to shed any water weight. Also, the Friday before (I’m getting married on a Sunday) I might run 15 miles to deplete my glycogen stores faster. That’s about it for me.
diet wise I’ll be eating at a 250 deficit (drop 1 more pound), not weighing myself though, and eating higher protein starting 2 weeks out. Starting 1 week out I’ll be limiting carbs to 50-75g a day and 2 days out 0-20 carbs.
i am really in tune with my body and I know how many carbs it takes for me to feel like a fully functioning human being, how many it takes to debloat, and what I can expect on my wedding day. I’m rather petite and will “dry out” the 2-3 days before my next fitting just to make sure that it’s taken in again if necessary.
