My favorites change every other day or so. We don’t plan to find out the gender until the baby is born, unless we get pregnant with twins!

Girl Names: Sadie, Kate, and Avalyn

Boy Names: Jackson, Luke, and Easton

annonbee857:  Ha, in that case, that would definitely be odd. I used to teach a little boy named Max and he was really cute and funny, even though he had terrible handwriting, lol. One of the reasons I picked it is because I really like Max as a nickname. Maximillian isn’t bad too but I feel like nobody would ever use his full name.

MissCoupon:  I like that!  Do you have problems with people spelling your name though?  That’s my only concern with Katelin/Kaitlyn/Kaitlin/Caitlyn … well I’m sure you get it.  I’m a Carly/Carley/Carlie/Karlie/Kahli … again, I’m sure you get it … I’m trying to decide whether I want to hoist that on my offspring as well ๐Ÿ˜‰ heh.

The other thing I’m considering is a double barrel middle name.  I’m Carly Joanna Fitzgerald and my brother is Peter Scott Fitzgerald… Fitzgerald being an old family name.  I’m super close to my grandma who might pass before we have kids and I”d love to do a similar thing but use her maiden name, “Griffin” as a tribute.

goingtotherooftopoflove:  oh yeah, totally. No one ever spells my name right. Partly because I go by Kati, not Katie. ๐Ÿ™‚

you learn to live with it, and I like being different. ๐Ÿ™‚

I am so so in love with Chloe. But here in Germany people would probably pronounce it the French way. Which I don’t like as much plus it sounds an awful lot like the common way to say restroom in Germany. That would be Klo. Not sure what to do but I guess if I raise my kids here I won’t have a Chloe.

Girl: Adaline Marie (Marie = family middle name -> first born girl in my family.. would be the 4th gen)

       Adalee

Boy: Elijah

We’re not TTC yet so that’s about as far as we’ve gotten. I’ve loved Adaline for a long time (like 5+ years), but it seems like around here the popularity of its sister-name Adelyn is shooting up the charts. I still love the name, but I also don’t want future DD to be one of like 10 Addies in her class.

And then Elijah… or “Eli”.. DH’s cousin just named their baby Elijah last year. DH thinks it would be NBD to also name future DS Elijah, but I’m not so sure. Bee’s thoughts? We really loved the name and haven’t come up with something we like as much.

Love this list.
