For a girl:

Cecilia Louise is our top runner. Cecilia for my husband’s Grandpa Cecil and the saint for music (since music is how we met and our most important thing in our life) and Louise for my Grandma Gertrude Louise (no offense grandma, but I’m not naming my baby Gertrude lol).

For a boy:

haven’t thought too much about a boy’s name but we both kinda like Jakob Michael.

….Boy names are hard for me and I’m not sold on anything yet.

goingtotherooftopoflove: Crazy, my top boy name is Sebastian Jared (though James was a viable middle name option as it’s FI’s middle name). Great minds 😉

Our top girl name is Violet Francis (Violet is FI’s late grandmother, and Francis is my mom’s middle name).

I thought I really liked the name Celina….until I googled it with SO’s last name and found out there’s a porn star by that name!!

For a girl, I like Cassandra and for a boy, James. SO is not on board with Cassandra.

Not TTC just yet but Fiance actually loves the names I proposed right off the bat so I’m really happy, haha, because I’ve been sitting on them for yeaaaars.

For a girl, Evangeline Joy (Eva for short but I don’t even care that it’s popular, I loved it way longer ago). For a boy, Warren William, after relatives on my side.

My family is pretty big on delving the family tree for names, so that’s probably what I’ll end up doing. I’m named after an older relative I never met, but whom my mother was very close to, and I think the story behind my name and the connection to my past is really cool, I’d like to continue that if I can.

We are waaaaay off from TTC, but my current front runner for a girl name is Ava Lynn, or since Fiance doesn’t like that, I could settle for Avelyn (or something, haven’t thought of spellings until I just had to type it). I find boys’ names so much harder! I don’t have any that I like too much. I originally liked names like Jayden or Ryder, but now they just seem over used or “trying too hard” (I’m so sorry if anyone likes those names! Just my opinion 🙂 ) I kind of like James because it’s so classic, but I have a cousin named James.

It’s quite a ways off, but our top choices are Robin for a girl and Forrest for a boy. They’re both nature-y but definitely normal names, easy to say and spell. I love the feel of both. We have no idea on middle names, but will probably look to family names for inspiration.

My family tells me I HAVE to name a boy Alfred Scott. It was supposed to be my name, thank god I turned out to be a girl. I’m a wuss, a nerd and small framed as it is, I would have been beat up on the school yard mercilessly. Our choices for a girl would be Samantha or Gloria. For a boy.. You know I just can’t remember!
