I love the name Jordan.  It’s unisex.

Boys:

Jack Henry

Jack Sawyer

Girls:

Riley Ashlen

River Lyla

I love love love August Grey (I’d call him Auggie), Beckett (call him Becks), and Katie Lea (two of my best friends name and the middle name is the same as a good friend and my mom) but my DH said no way to all of them.  We both love Archer except I’m worried he’d be called Archie which is not my most favorite, even though I know it’s really popular right now.

Girl: Svea. It’s a Swedish girls name coming from the old Swedish name for Sweden: Svea Rike (Svea Kingdom).

Boy: Niilo. It’s the Finnish version of Nicholas. I’ve basically told Fiance that as long as I can have Svea he can chose what he likes for a boy, and he said he’d like to bring in my Finnish heritage to the mix as well. He’s so sweet!

Zimtstern:  I had to laugh at the Chloe/Klo. I speak German and work for a German company, studied in Berlin, all that jazz. You might be able to do the american “yoonique” name thing and spell it “Khloie”. Sort of German-phonetically. But also, I have a German co-worker who has a daughter names Joanna. Here it would be Joe-Anna which I don’t love but in German it would be Yo-Ahna, which I think is beautiful. Moral of the story: Maybe you can find a name that you might not love in English, but in German, sounds lovely.

Evelyn. She could be Evie, or Eve, or Evelyn when she’s a professional. I think Evelyn finally got my husband to back away from Celeste. He’s said for YEARS he loves that name, and I’ve never really loved it. For boys, I have no clue.

I really like Henry or Patrick for a boy. He has no idea what to name a boy.

I’m English and my Fiance is Mauritian. Just for reference I guess!

Girls:

Eleanor Marie

Margaux (said mar-go)

Lourdes (no middle name yet)

Boys:

Theodore (Theo) William

Christian Pierre

No other first names but Amadeus as a middle name. It was Mozart’s name and for some reason I love it.
