Our top for a girl is Anastasia Rose. I’ve gone back and forth about it because after we picked the name out, I found out that its the main characters name from 50 Shades of Grey, but I cant think of any middle name I love more and my husband is dead set on Anastasia.
We cant fully agree on any other girls names. I throw out lots of suggestions and he either straight up hates them, or says “its okay. I dont mind it.” Ones that he “doesnt mind” are: Aurora, Genevieve, and Samara.
For a boy our top name is Archer Caspian, but he’s recently said that he also loves Adrian, so that might beat out Archer (because I love Adrian more than I love Archer.) Other boy names we like are: Blaze, Atlas, and Valen.

I’m not sure if it bothers you at all but Leighton is typically used as the feminine form while Layton is used for masculine. I love Layton on a boy (and don’t like it for a girl lol)

We don’t talk names much anymore because my fiancé is dead set on the ones we “agreed upon”.
Lucello Vincent Ira – nicknames Luca, Looch, and Louie
and Ottavio Jack ?? – nickname Otto.
For girls, we only have one set in stone though the second middle name is still of discussion..
Allegra Nicolina Estelle
other girls names on our list: Valentina, Kerensa, Helena, Milena, Mirella, Saphira, & Lilith

Ohhh, I love this! Fiance and I already have names picked out for our July baby. We find out the sex in just a few weeks. For a boy we’ve chosen Colton (nickname Colt) Paul and for a girl we’ve decided on Calla Joyce. A few of my friends have asked me about the pronunciation of Calla and it’s synonymous with the flower, calla lily. We’re definitely one for unique, uncommon names and we don’t have alternates. Lots of good names on here, bees!

I really don’t want to be butting in where I don’t belong, but just in case this is really important to you…
Quinn, as you’ve spelled it, is an Irish name, and in Irish, I’m not aware of it having any association with queen. It means generally ‘wise’ or ‘counsel’. The irish for queen is banrion, pronounced ban-ree-un, literally woman-king.
(Obviously, Quinn may have links to another culture that I’m not aware of, in which case, my apologies!)

I have no idea. I have found it with “wise”, but the baby books tell me it means “Queen” and comes from the Old English “Quen”. It’s also Celtic and Scottish.

We have Lillian Elizabeth after our two late grandmothers and will call her Lily-Beth and for a boy Brody Gage, Lawson Colt or Everett, Sawyer Henon. Almost all have family names in them.

Yup, it’s the Celtic/Scottish/Irish connection I’m aware of.
I didn’t know abuot the Old English link – interesting!
It’s a lovely name anyway!

Fiance and I talk about it every once in a while, though we’re not TTC yet. Our girl’s name is Lilah Anne and our boy is Jackson Douglas (Doug was his dad’s name and I don’t like it enough for it to be his first name).
I actually only have the one girl’s name as I always wanted boys which is funny because he wants girls lol. My old fave boy’s name was Mason but it has become too popular for me. I loved it 15 years ago before anyone even heard about it in our area lol.

For girls, Darla Rose or Esther May. Maybe Rosalind May?
(Unfortunately there are a lot of unlikeable movie characters named Darla.)
For boys, David Robert or Daniel Robert. There are a lot of Davids running around though.

Evie Mae is my front runner too!

I’m not 100% set on girl names as I don’t really discuss them with my husband yet but I have my very own list for when it becomes a real opportunity 😉
Audra Claire; Nora Quinn; Georgiana Quinn (I love love the name Quinn for a girl, but I don’t think it goes well with our last name to make it a first name). Husband loves the name Madison but I’m not really for it.
Boys: a definite is Joseph Steven (Joseph after my husband, and grandfathers. Steven after my father). If we have another boy I like the name Eian (Ian) James.

My sister’s name is Makenna, spelled the same way! That never happens 🙂 She loves her name, but just be ready for lots of McKennas
