First of all, you look GORGEOUS!! You have nothing to worry about! Almost all those dresses look to big on you.

That one dress with the back detail (the bow thing and the jewels), that is ah-mazing! I’ve never seen anything like that before

The second one is really unique and beautiful, and I love the way the top flatters you. You may have felt like everything looked great on the size 0 bride, but I bet she was eyeing your curves with envy.

When I first started looking at dresses online I was so discouraged by the skinny models in the pictures. Looking on this website with everyone in their dresses, I think us curvy girls blow the models out of the water. These dresses look soo good on women with curves and you are no exception. These dresses look beautiful on you!

You have a lovely hourglass figure with really good proportions. I love the second dress on you, your waist looks really tiny (in the 3rd picture too). And once the dresses are properly fitted it’ll look even better.

Don’t compare yourself to other women – real women come in all different shapes and sizes. Focus on all the positive things you have going on. Chances are the size zero bride was looking at you and wishing she had your curves!

I think you look like you have a fabulous shape! These dresses would all look fantastic if you they were properly fitted. On the first two in particular, my eye is immediately drawn to how big they are in the bust line, but once I get past that I can see how nice they look on you. Try not to be too hard on yourself!

I’m confused, you look really small?  And you have curves which make pretty much all dresses look extra good!

@ashump210:  I think you look beautiful in all of the dresses except the last one… whoof. But I wouldnt’t be a fan of that floofy froofy pile of puff at all, on anyone, in any plain of existence. Blech. No shape at all, the back-view makes you look like you have no torso at all, and I really can’t help but think of vulva every time I see one of those froufy dresses with “florets” on them. Really, they remind me of vaginas. Sorry to anyone who enjoys or has that style of dress… I can’t help what pops in my head automatically.

The first few pics, however, WOW!! You look AMAZING!! You have a gorgeous hourglass figure, and the shape of the dress perfectly highlights your shape in all the right ways, and the satin looks so elegant. You have such a beautiful figure, you should show it off in a beautiful mermaid dress like the first one, and not hide it in a pile of pouf!

I think your shape is fine, but you are picking dresses that attract the eye down. I think this is making you look thicker than you are. I would look for dresses that have more embellishments up top in the bodice. I don’t think it is even an issue of the dres shape, but where the focus is. Ditch the dresses with those pick-ups on one side. They take away the hourglass shape the dress is giving and just makes you thick all the way down.

Maybe try a dress more like the last one but less volume on the bottom (meaning, large skirt but not so much fluff)? Or a simplier version of the first (fit-and-flare/trumpet I think?). And ditto PP about the waist fitting wrong.

You look beautiful! I like the unique back of the first one. The second one looks like the ruffles start way too high in the back? Do you have any more pics- are those the top contenders right now? There will always be people skinnier and heavier than you- you have to love how you look and forget what everyone else looks like!!

LOVE the second one with the crystal buttons and bow detail on the back! You have lovely curves, rock them!
