(Closed) Weight loss!

@Girasole:  my Future Mother-In-Law and I just decided we are going to sign up at a local gym and go Atleast 3-4 days a week as its hard since we work opposite shifts and neither of us will go alone. Hopefully can will slowly change my eating habits, this is going to be very hard.. My goal is to lose 50 pounds by April next year.. It seems doable but I am horrible at diets and keeping up with them.. I will also be using the “lose it” app on my cellphone. It really helps with keeping track of calories. Please help me!! I will be rooting for you πŸ™‚

@Girasole:  a lot of my friends talk about getting weight loss pills from their doctor but how do you get your doctor to give them to you? Just say “I want to lose weight”? You were brave to order your dress smaller! I already have mine, and it is a little big in spots ( I have a small waist and huge hips/butt) but I still want to be healthy and look fabulous!! I am 5’8″ and exactly 200, I have never done weight watchers before maybe I should check that out, thanks! Now i really want to start tomorrow so I have time because I fall off diets quickly πŸ™

@Girasole:  Me too. I’m also getting married in June 2014. I’m about 12 lbs down since January. I use loseit, which is very similar to myfitnesspal. It’s good to see I’m on track with my timeline of starting alterations. :).

I’ll join in! I have about 10-20lbs more to lose but those are the hardest- especially since cardio is so limited here.

My workout regimine is: barre twice a week (trying to get it up to 3), spin at least once a week, Pilates 3 times a week and yoga at least once.

i eat clean pretty much every day but have a hard time with carbs- now that Passover is done I am worried that bread will become a staple in my diet again!

I have two opportunities to make it to barre today- 2pm and 4:30… Lets see how I do!

@Girasole:  I didn’t make it to barre but I did get to reformer Pilates!

i also ate pretty well today. Didn’t go too crazy with the bread in the house, and my dinner was mostly veggies with about a cup of garbanzo beans… It was deliciousness!
