I’m in! I so need some motivation! Lol

Roll Call!

How long have you been TTC/How long on weight loss journey?  16th cycle TTC/Just starting to really put in the effort this past month.

If you joined the March Challenge, how much did you lose? N/A

How much do you want to lose this month (April Challenge)? 8-10 pounds. 

What is your current weight (optional and for reference only)? 149.8lbs

What strategy are you going to follow this month to achieve your weight loss goal?

Dh and I are trying to start a healthier meal plan and trying new foods. We live in a rural community and bike a 4.56 mile ride as often as we can (I use a bike ride tracker app) and hopefully will be able to increase that more as the weather gets warmer.

Any weight loss websites or apps you are using?

Just the bike app for now.

How often do you weigh yourself?

Maybe once a month. I’ve always fluctuated a bit in weight, and the number doesn’t really matter to me. I’m hoping to just be comfortable in a bathing suit this summer! Lol

How do you stay motivated?

We are currently redoing our backyard. We have an inground pool and host lots of parties during the summer. We manage a band and have a big pool party planned in June.

I’ll join. I’ve been steadily gaining weight since my MC and need to get back into shape. Hopefully be able to wear a swimsuit this summer.

How long have you been TTC/How long on weight loss journey? Started TTC 8 months ago. Just starting to try and lose a bit of weight I’ve put on over the winter.

If you joined the March Challenge, how much did you lose? N/A

How much do you want to lose this month (April Challenge)? I’d be happy with 5 lbs

What is your current weight (optional and for reference only)? 150/ 5’5″

What strategy are you going to follow this month to achieve your weight loss goal? Eat better and get back to the gym/running

Any weight loss websites or apps you are using? My Fitness Pal

How often do you weigh yourself? I normally weigh myself every morning for accountability. So I can see if I ate really bad the day before. Just helps keep me in check. I record my weight in my ap once a week.

How do you stay motivated? Tracking my food. Seeing results, even if they are small. I was better about going to the gym when I had a work out partner. It has been harder these days.

What is your current weight (optional and for reference only)? 168? Will weigh in this weekend for my start point

What strategy are you going to follow this month to achieve your weight loss goal?  running (or gym cardio when it rains); eating well

Any weight loss websites or apps you are using? Sparkpeople, RunKeeper, Interval Timer

How often do you weigh yourself? 1/week

How do you stay motivated? Remembering why I’m doing this – and the high I get when I see a difference

I’m in again!  I found this thread really helped motivate me and keep me accountable.

How long have you been TTC/How long on weight loss journey? 9 months.  Started getting serious out my weight loss at the end of February.

If you joined the March Challenge, how much did you lose? 6.4 lbs.

How much do you want to lose this month (April Challenge)? It’s ambitious but I’d like to lose another 6.6 lbs.  That would put me at a total of 15 lbs down.

What strategy are you going to follow this month to achieve your weight loss goal? Same as last week.  A combination of P90X3 for my workouts and weight watchers for my eating.  I’m not messing with something that seems to be working.

How often do you weigh yourself? Daily. But official weigh-ins are on Mondays

How do you stay motivated? Thinking about the success I’ve had so far.  This works.  I know it works.  I just need to keep doing it!

I did not join the March Challenge

I would like to lose five pounds this April of real fat, not water weight

I am followign the Atkins diet and using my fitbit to ensure that I walk at least 10k steps a day, I’m also trying to fit in 30 min of cardio three times a week.

I weigh myself every day

I’ve had difficulty staying motivated but I’m hoping the idea that this is something I’m doing to have a healthy baby will help keep me going.

How long have you been TTC/How long on weight loss journey?  TTC since June/ I’ve been trying to lose weight since January

If you joined the March Challenge, how much did you lose?  March was a bad month for me, so I’ll call it a wash.  I lost nothing but I didn’t gain too much.  

How much do you want to lose this month (April Challenge)?  5 lbs

What is your current weight (optional and for reference only)?  187 lbs

What strategy are you going to follow this month to achieve your weight loss goal?  My goal is to get the gym at least twice a week, and to take a walk at night at least every other night when the weather is good enough.  This week I pre-made salads for lunch, and it seamed to work well.  It’s hard not to snack on the kid’s snacks and lunch throughout the day.  I’ve even started bringing my own healthy snacks, but I’m a softy when there are carbs in my face! 

Any weight loss websites or apps you are using?  I’m using my fitbit to track steps.  

How often do you weigh yourself?  Every few days.  

How do you stay motivated?  Right now I’m kind of failing at the modivation.  I just bought some new spring clothes though, and it would feel good to feel less tubby in them.

Just weighed in only to find out I gained the weight back in March. Gah!

My doc also gave me a referral for a fertility specialist on Friday. Bad weekend all around… my goal this week is to use exercise for stress relief instead of emotional eating.

I’m going to skip this month. We are prepping for Mr. LK’s TESE, so stress reduction is the name of the game in our household. We’ll keep eating healthy, of course, but won’t stress if our pant sizes stay the same. 🙂

What strategy are you going to follow this month to achieve your weight loss goal? gym 5 days a week (mix of walking at high incline and weights)

Any weight loss websites or apps you are using? i spend a lot of time at http://www.marksdailyapple.com as i try to follow the paleo lifestyle

How often do you weigh yourself? once a week

How do you stay motivated? i just know the more i lose before the getting pregnant, the easier the pregnancy and months afterward will be 🙂 i also want to be cute pregnant, not fat pregnant lol

Hi ladies! back again and hopefully more motivated than previous months.

How long have you been TTC/How long on weight loss journey? trying to loose weight – most of my life, TTC – we have been NTNP since Jan and if nothing happens by Sept we will be ‘officially’ TTC from then.

If you joined the March Challenge, how much did you lose? i managed to gain a fair amount. 

How much do you want to lose this month (April Challenge)? i am aiming for 4lb this month (though anything would be a bonus!) – in the long run…i want to loose at least what i have put on since getting married.

current weight (optional and for reference only)? on bad days i feel like i amsomewhere between dumbo and jabba the hut.

What strategy are you going to follow this month to achieve your weight loss goal? eat healthy, move more.

Any weight loss websites or apps you are using? Slimming world website, my own personal slimming blog.

How often do you weigh yourself? 2 x day, morning and evening – official weigh day is Thurs evening at my Slimming world group

How do you stay motivated? i really stuggle with motivation – which is nuts – surely just looking in the mirror at the moment should be the motivation i need. just need that ‘lightbulb moment’ and then i’ll be fine.

how was everyones easter weekend?? i did a lovely east egg hunt for Darling Husband and tried to be good… but then he offered to share all his chocolately yumminess with me – how could i refuse?!

non chocolate food wise we have eaten quite well but i got a feeling all that chocolate is gonna come and show up on weigh day.

i skipped my SW meeting last week – after the big gain the week before i was in a miserable place and didnt want to see ANOTHER gain on the scales. so, until 2moro – my progress is still at 0. how is eveyone else gettin on??

weird_bunny:  I haven’t lost anything yet, but I have been much more conscious about what I’ve been eating (no more beer or candy, smaller portion sizes). I’ve also managed to get out and go jogging 2 days ago. That was the first time I’d been out in over a month. So even though the scale doesn’t show it yet, I’m confident that I’m headed in the right direction.

It always takes me a week or so for my body to recover after I start exercising again. For some reason I always gain weight my first week or two back at the gym before I start to lose any.
