    The wedding was motivation for me to lose some weight (I’ve yo-yo’d since the age of 8). I got 23 pounds off. I would love to get another 10 off, but that may not be do-able at this point. Plus I have one more dress fitting left.

    I am hoping to lose about 80 pounds before my wedding, primarily to fit into the dress I bought! I found it at Filene’s Basement Running of the Brides and fell in LOVE. But, it’s discontinued, so I had to take the bridal size 10. Here’s hoping it will fit!

    Even if I don’t get that small, I’d like to get back to where I was when Fiance met me because I was happy and healthy at that size.

    I’m down 45 pounds since August.  I hope to lose at least another 40 by November… I have to go down at least 1 more size in order to get into my dress! Wish my luck!

    I answered that I wanted to lose weight before my wedding, but I want to preface that I do love myself just the way I am and if I didn’t lose weight, I’d be ok with that too.  I’ve always struggled and at this point in my life, it’s more about how I feel.  I have been a regular at my gym for over 16 months and that is the best habit I have developed since getting engaged!  I haven’t lost much weight, maybe 8 pounds, but I’m down a size and have a lot more muscle.  I’ve worked on the diet off and on, but it’s been tough.  I’m stressed and I’m a stress eater.  haha.  But I do want to lose another 20 pounds which is very feasible over the next 5 months.  If I don’t lose it, well, my wedding will still be just as great.  Here’s to trying though!  🙂

    i said i’m going to lose weight before the big day. as for why, please keep in mind these are feeling toward myself, they in no way reflect the way i feel about other people who are ‘overweight’, i have never weighed this much in my life. i hate seeing myself, it makes me ill (haha, that’s how i put on so much weight! i was ill & ate everything & couldn’t go to the gym. hello 50lbs i’d like to say goodbye to!). i don’t want to be seen looking like this, let alone have to see it in my wedding photos for the rest of my life. more importantly, we plan on starting a family after we’re married. i don’t want to hate myself while i’m pregnant. i am not ok with being an unhealthy mother, part of that for me is losing weight. wow, that was a downer to write! haha! good luck to everyone!

    I am in the process of losing weight! I’ve been on weight watchers for three weeks tomorrow. I’ve lost 5.4 lbs so far but I way in tomorrow so I’m hoping that number is a little higher after I weigh in.

    I don’t love myself how I am right now. I have never been this heavy and refuse to stay this way. I already have two daighters and Fiance would like to have one of our own after we are married. But, I had serious blood pressure issues with those pregnancies and I know that I have to lose probably 50lbs at least to make it at all possible to have a healthy pregnancy.

    I am determined now more than I have ever been in my entire life. The wedding was just a goal to focus on and for me to stop making excuses.

    Iam in the process of losting weight. My wedding is 7 weeks away and I would like to lose about 23 lbs. So far I have lost 11 pounds this week. Probably mostly water weight but I also had a strict diet and worked my ass of. If I can lose more than 20 pounds, then great!!

    @MrsE.ToBe :

    @Mrs Scott to be:

    Haha thanks guys! I was seriously so shocked when I got on the scale this morning! I am sure most of it is water weight but I have been eating no more than 1200 calories a day with most of my foods being veggies or fruit with a protein like chicken or fish. I do Jillian Michaels 30 day shred once in the morning and once before bed and I walk up this hill by my work for my entire lunch hour. Like, I said, I working my ASS off. LOL

    @Tswife4ever:

    I know what you mean. I bought my dress online and its much smaller. I have to lose about 20 lbs. I just need an exercise routine that works for me.

    Plus I can’t forget about the honeymoon. I have to look my beat in a two-piece

    I put other because I’m just trying to lose weight in general. I have lost 35 lbs so far and I have about another 33 to get to a “healthy” weight. I have only really gone down one size so far, I hope when I get down to a 14 offically (I can fit in them but they are tight) that it will take me less weight to go down sizes.

    I have always been overweight. I would like to be healthier to have kids, look better in clothes, be healthy and feel good about myself.
