@jesssamesssa: It’s fun to see everyone’s stories! I’m trying to get to where I look thin and fit, not slightly pudgy with a belly. I’m a little less than halfway there– it’s so far been easier than I thought, since I am 5’1″ and started at a fairly “normal” weight for my size, despite being grossed out at my appearance.
CW: 112 or so
UGW: 105, but only if I have nice muscles at that size– I don’t want to lose TOO much and end up like a stick. I was once at 105 as and adult and I think I looked good, so it should be possible.
I am giving myself until April 8 (my birthday) to get to my first goal weight, and I’ll see what happens from there. I think it’s doable– I’ve lost 4 lbs since the beginning of January, which was more than I thought possible! And I’m eating decently too. I’m very happy with my fitness level improving as well– I can easily run 5 miles now with only a few short pauses!

I’ll go! I’m 5’5″ and 30 years old…
I wanted to get pregnant in 2014 and knew that planing on gaining weight when i was already not happy with my weigh i needed to do something! so November 3rd i joined Weight watchers and hit the gym!
GW: Not really sure I’d like to get to 145 but maybe even 140… Depended on when i get pregnant! 🙂

@SuperKate: @Bridebee13: I’m in a similar situation as both of you.. I have always weighed more than I look because of muscle but recently my muscle has turned into fat because I’ve gotten incredibly lazy over the past 1-2yrs. I also hate when people scoff at me trying to lose weight/work out because I’m already a “normal” size and wish they could be more supportive of my efforts!
No weight loss yet for me but I look and feel better after about a month of cardio and strength training a few days a week. I’m actually noticing that some of my pants are tighter than they used to be because I’ve been doing more lower body weight training than cardio…oops. Guess I should be spending more time on the elliptical to balance it out.
All of you ladies look fantastic! Congratulations on your progress and keep going!

@jesssamesssa: Oh I am! Off home to do a heavy deadlift session. 🙂 Only four months ’til my next competition and I want to break 250kg (and ideally 275kg).

The lowest I got to during my weight loss journey was 118.. then I relaxed a little and bumped up a few pounds. After the wedding I took a breather as well and went from 120-127.. 7 isn’t that much, but I’d like to get back to 120.

CW – 179 (eeeek)
GW – 150 (DH says that’s too low but I’m 5’6 so I think it’d be good!)
Lowest weight in the past few years has been 172 and that was a year and a half ago.
I am struggling to get back to the gym ever since the wedding/honeymoon and living right smack dab in the center of the polar vortex doesn’t help!

I love motivation threads! I just posted my before and “in progress” pics in another forum but I will share them here also. Pic #1 is at my starting weight of 135. The second round is me at 125 (taken 2 days ago at the gym)

- Wedding: September 2015 - Country Club
I haven’t been on the bee in a few weeks and just saw this post and I was so excited! I wanted to share my lil thrill. I started my weight loss just under a month ago and have lost 11.1 lbs as of this morning
I know I have a lot to lose but I really want to do it the right way, so I’ve just been tracking everything with mfp and trying to get to the gym when I can but even that might only be twice a week. I’m SO excited, I don’t expect this type of dramatic weight loss to continue but every little bit helps!

I really started working out and keeping track of my calories in September 2013. It feels really good to have come this far in five months. I didn’t take any before pictures, but I can definitely see the weight loss in how my clothes are fitting. I need to go shopping for new work pants 🙂
I’m still trying to figure out my UGW. Since high school, I’ve always been 150+, so I’m not sure if I can reasonably acheive anything lower. I’ll keep working and see where I end up.

I started making effort to lose weight last summer.
I am down two dress sizes, bought my frist pair of skinny jeans last week, and am feeling great! I’ve hit a plateau, but I’m fighting through it!

I’ll play! Although I REALLY don’t want to post the numbers, here goes:
Obviously I have a ways to go. My sister introduced me to ViSalus, so that’s what I have been using.

I made a thread about weight loss Bees goal weights last week. I’ve lost 16.7kgs (36.7 pounds) since this time last year.
I’m still a fair way from my ultimate goal weight of 52kgs (115 pounds) but my weight loss is slow and steady – I haven’t gained more than 1kg (2.2 pounds) back at a time – so I’m happy.
I honestly don’t notice a difference in my appearance or how my clothes feel, but my SO, family and friends have commented on my weight loss, the numbers on the scale are going down and my measurements are too so I’m persevering.

@gpiglet: yay!!!! high five 🙂 for me, getting past the 127-128 plateau was SO hard. I really had to re-vamp my diet to get where I am now (around 125). that 2 pounds was the hardest ever to lose! When I was around 128 I was giving myself a LOT of cheats though, but now that I dont anymore I find myself not even wanting unhealthy foods as much!
How are you doing?

120 – 125 lbs was always my standard weight (5’3) 2011 – 2012 I shot up to 175 lbs, first half of last year I was 150 lbs at my lowest. I decided to stop weighing myself the summer of last year. When I weighed in January I was 120 lbs and my goal was 130 lbs 🙂 Now I need to keep it up, I’ve been doing Zumba, still eating clean/small portions and allowing myself to have cheat days.
