@jesssamesssa: I’m loving the motivation on this thread!
I lost somewhere between 20 and 30 lbs. a few years ago. I was around 140 in High School and bumped up somewhere between 160 and 170 in college. Most of the loss was due to nutrition and general health – my Doctor prescribed vitamins (I was deficient in some) and I started eating healthier when I moved home to my parents’ house.
I’m currently somewhere between 140 and 150, size 8 or so (I’m 5’6″). I don’t weigh myself anymore because it isn’t good for me mentally and I try to judge based off how my clothes fit. I’m at a good weight for my height, but I would like to be a bit more toned. I hate the Gym though, so we’ll see how long this motivation lasts. Lol!

I began in January. I have gone paleo (with limited dairy) and a few cheat days here and there. I am doing cardio boxing/kickboxing classes 3-4x/week. I’m also drinking at least 1 gallon of water per day. As I get closer to my big day, my goal is to up my classes to 5x/week. You all look amazing, btw! Cheers!

I’ll just go with my most recent weight loss kick.
SW: 179.8 lb (Jan 12/14)
CW: 175.4 lb (Feb 8/14)
GW: 160.0 lb
UGW: 140.0 lb
I’ve already had people notice the loss (I haven’t, really, except for the number on the scale) and have been asked if I’m eating enough. Yep, but I’m working out 5-6 days a week, so I’m burning a lot of that off. I’m still very overweight (5’3″ – healthy weight for me is between 112 and 140), but have been told not to lose anymore. Um, what?

Just weighed myself today and after a 2-3 week plateau where I was at 140 i finally broke the into the 130’s- at 138 🙂
SW: 146 (5’7.5″)
GW:130-135- not really caring about the weight, my ultimate goal is a 6 pack, i dont care what I weigh when I have it.
Down about 8 lbs since Christmas!
Great job everyone! I love reading all the updates! I am probably the only one who can tell the difference ( that is the perk AND downside of being tallish) but my Fiance said to appease me that I look skinny so I’ll take it.

Congrats to all of you!!!! I weighed myself Wednesday. I am trying for the once a week approach. I was 174.5! 🙂 Means I have lost 4.7lbs since I started on the 5th! I am still allowing myself 1 cheat day a week. Usually only go up to 1800 calories though. Normal day I stay between 1100-1200. I also love chocolate…..bad. I know. But I made two new things while snowed in.
1) Popcorn with semi sweet chocolate chips…like 100 calories… SO GOOD!
2) Dark Chocolate almond milk with 1/2 serving of protein powder and ice to make a ‘frosty’ around 125 calories….definitely a good chocolate fix!!

I always have 2 cheat days a week ( Ill be cutting it down to one when its closer to bathing suit season) where I drink my craft beer and let a little loose on my diet . Its necessary to be good the rest of the week!

@Boxerlover24: Yes! On my cheat day I had wings and a beer. It was perfect! I havent had one yet this week. It was going to be last night but our early Valentines night was cancelled cause of the snow. But Darling Husband did bring me home red roses!!! lol
Oh and that frosty is superb! Even without the protein powder. That dark chocolate almond milk is better than regular chocolate milk!

OMG, tell me about it. I’m stuck at 127-129. To pass 127 is soooo hard, I have stuck at that for almost a month now. I get a bit frustrated and start cheating this week…. so this morning I weight myself, I am at 128.8. (my lowest two weeks ago was 126.2)
I think I really have to stick with schedule and go to bikram yoga more…instead of 2 times a week. I feel you, onec I start eating healthy. I don’t want unhealthy food…. BUT once I start cheating, those unheathy food taste so good hahaha.. but for real, I can’t even drink anything sweet now. I used to love canned coconut water, last night I found that even that is too sweet for my taste.
I also noticed that as long as I drink lemon water non stop really help, at least I don’t crave for unhealthy food as much after I hydrate my body

@jesssamesssa: I weighed myself today and lost 3lbs! I’ve been trying to lose weight for a while and now with the wedding coming up in being more serious about it. I’ve gone MWF for two weeks and it his paid off obviously :).
i know this sounds terrible, but I’ve gained 30 lbs in 2 years! But I realized it was my Birth Control! I got it in 2012 and now I’m up 30 lbs, my diet (or lack of) has been the same. I finally made the connection and I stopped feeling hopeless like it was my fault for not being “skinny”. I’m taking control of it and now that I’ve mastered the scheduling of the gym and how to make the most of my time there, I have no excuses.
i just really needed to tell someone because I’ve been going through this cycle of gym for a week and then I quit and start again. I haven’t told Fiance I’m going to the gym because I don’t want to tell him the sane thing yet again and then not accomplish anything. I want to atleast lose 10 lbs before the wedding and then tell him 🙂

I was bad this weekend. I cheated both days. Even friday wasnt all that great of a day. But I will be better this week. Minus maybe tomorrow since I am going out to eat with my parents. I just cant bring myself to get a salad when I go out. I want yummy food!! I also made a big dish of super bad for you mac n cheese last night. Yep….eating some more today for dinner….and probably lunch tomorrow. But I will go to the gym tues, thurs, and friday.

I don’t have very many “before” pictures on the computer,
but this is me circa 2000 at 250 lbs
Here I am at 150ish (I am 5’7″ and all muscle so even though I am 150 I don’t really look it!)
I am currently 175…and 5 1/2 months pregnant..so I guess that is ok..I’ll be back to post about my weight loss again soon! blahhhh.

Awesome job everyone!!! I love seeing the before and after pics. They are very inspiring. 🙂 I’m still in my weight loss phase. I’m really looking forward to the maintenance phase! There’s still a while to go for that, though.

Current: 189 lbs
Goal: 135-145 lbs (I’d be happy anywhere in there. My best form is 138 with muscle – an athletic build)
