I will play! Love reading all of the posts. Makes me want to go to the gym!
SW: 161.5 lbs
UGW: 137 (what I weighed when I met Fiance, I was in the best shape of my life)
i travel every week for work so I eat out a lot, but I do t have distractions during the week so getting to the gym is easy. I see a PT once a week and I have been shrinking my portions down to normal/healthy sizes. I quit soda (even diet!) and that helped with my sugar cravings.
Fiance is also losing weight. He is already down 2 pant sizes and I am so proud of him. I want to wear the dress I wore on our first date on our Honeymoon. He always talks about how much he liked it.

SW: 165.0 lb – my heaviest ever — and that was about a few months before I got engaged.
CW (2/20/14): 148.6 – I think it’s a lot easier now since I am a more sensible eater. I still eat pizza and burgers too but I just know when to stop. I think this took me almost a year.
GW: 130-135 but the truth is when I first met my fiance I was 125 lbs.

- Wedding: June 2014 - British Columbia
I was tired of feeling ugly, so I made a lifestyle change. NOT just because I wanted to lose weight; I wanted to have more energy coping with more than 3 things at the same time.
Since starting my fitness journey in May 2013 (Pilates/Training to Run/Weight Training), I have lost a total of 16 pounds. Undoubtedly, I gained over Christmas but was able to lose it again.
Here’s the thing though:
I don’t count calories. I base my food on how nutritious it is! (How much vitamins and minerals from the food I’m eating? Are they empty in nutrients despite zero calories?)
I’m looking forward to getting more toned. I’ll never be a size zero again. (I used to be) But that’s completely okay!

I just started losing about 10 days ago and I’m down 4lbs. I know it could be more if I’d work out more but I’ve had some nasty migraines this week. This was from cutting back on the unhealthy eating. When I moved to my new state to be closer to my Fiance we ate a ton of fast food. Just cutting back and adding a little daily exercise a day (like parking at the back of the lot at the store) has helped.
Another thing that is helping me stay motivated is the clothespin visual. You hang two ribbons, one is pounds to lose and another pounds lost. Each time you lose a pound you move a clothespin over. 4 isnt much but enough to keep me motivated!
I’m at 152 today, goal is 117 by the end of May (2.5 lbs a week).

@nestle: 2.5lb a week isn’t a healthy rate of loss when you’re not morbidly obese. You’re likely to lose lean body mass and damage your metabolism if you do succeed. It’s totally doable the first couple of weeks (because you’re dropping water weight) but 1-2lb a week (really, 1lb at your weight) is more realistic.
I’m not trying to rain on your parade, but yo-yo dieting can screw your body up pretty badly.

I started about 7 weeks ago doing T25, finished first 5 weeks of T25, and then was sick for a week, then started Insanity! I’m done with my first week of Insanity!
About 2 or 3 years ago I was in the best shape of my life after doing P90X and Insanity. I was 129 lbs and strong! Then, I had a foot surgery and never got back in to it…I am so ashamed to admit that I gained over 30 pounds in these past couple of years!!! (My Fiance did, too)
UGW-125-130 (depends on how I feel at 130. 130 is usually a perfect number for me but less is better, too)
~27 pounds to go! I lost 2 pounds this past week! I’ve been eating so much more healthy–not going to Starbucks and getting a huge fatty coffee and not going out to eat or to fast food.
I’ve also been walking my puppy >3 miles/day!

I love reading about everyone’s progress and triumphs! Here are my stats:
I’ve lost 30 and have another 40 to go. It’s been slow progress, but I’m getting there!

I’m 5’8″ and
UGW: 135-140lbs. (Depending on body composition when I hit 145)
I hate the ‘Lose weight? omg from where??’ comments. I’m not happy with my current weight, and my BMI (not accurate I know, but still) dances the normal/overweight line. I’m currently a size 11(ish) and would love to be a 7!

I’m 5’6 and I just had my first child 2 months ago… I gained so much weight. I had horrible sickness all the way up until 24 weeks, and gained all of the weight before I was even in the 3rd trimester.
UGW: 130lbs is where I was before I got pregnant :X

I’ll join in!
HW: 250 while pregnant with my second daughter.
LW: 145 (before getting pregnant with my first DD)
SW: 235 January 1st
GW: 180 (by November)
Fiance and I are doing weight watchers, we both gained weight when I was pregnant with our first daughter in 2010, then a bit more with our second. So now is the time to lose it and be healthy role models for daughters (3 years old and 3 months old) I’m 5’9″ so I don’t want to get too small, at 145 I looked a bit lanky and had no curves, so. I think 160 is a great goal for me.

Love this! Great job everyone!
I was 150 when Fiance and I started dating 3.5 years ago. Would like to be back there for wedding day. Everyone tells me I look great but I see where I need to lose weight. I also have 3 bachelorettes and a boudoir shoot before my wedding so need to get my butt into gear!!!

Awesome job every one!!! Keep at it. I am at the beginning of my journey and have lost 12 pounds.

I’d like to join in on this inspiration thread. I gained weight after the wedding during the holidays and got really down on myself. I’ve been steadily working out and eating better than ever over the course of 3-4 weeks so far. I am happy with just how I feel, even though I have not lost much weight. I’d like to be smaller than well before I met my husband.
SW: 164 (my husband would be shocked if he knew that because I didn’t look it for some reason)
Height: 5’4 on a good day
